Iceland. Snow and supermodel horses shaking their long tousled manes. I’m imagining that the cost of hiring a van would have been prohibitive and hurt the hip pocket like passing a kidney stone? Great work again guys.
😂 can’t beat it right?! In hind sight we should have hired a van. We will cover off on why in the final video but winter was declared earlier than we expected so that meant our 4x4 for the interior “f roads” was useless because we weren’t allowed there. So the incremental cost of the van would have been worth it I think. But you get that on a big job and we will know for next time 😁
Great composition at 2:33. I realise it's hard get something unique out of this location but it looks good and different from the usual spot. I wish I could visit Iceland one day.
Thanks mate, they have been a lot of fun to edit lately, but I’ve just lost my computer for a few weeks which is making videos and editing photos very difficult unfortunately. I think you’ll be surprised when we run through the costs for Iceland compared to Norway. If you’re keen enough to do it cheap, then places like this become easy goals 👍
You are both so adaptable & patient when encountering obstacles like locked gates. I don’t think I could accept these situations so cheerfully. OR don’t you video the times when you are not so cheerful?!
Na it’s all pretty raw, it’s annoying and sometimes frustrating, but it’s shut for a reason. So we just take it as a learning for the next time it could possibly happen and learn on how we can manage around it. Haylie and I have definitely learnt to “calm down” and stay calm over the last 2-4 years. Because at the end of the day, there is nothing that can be done

It is so good to revisit some of these locations through your vlogs Andrew. Looks like you had a few different seasons of weather that day. Fantastic shots of Kikjufell and I'm enjoying the drone images. However one thing I'm struggling with is...I miss Iceland! 🤣
Something we all struggle with my friend. If you’ve been, you know!!!! We got really lucky with the weather for such an iconic place and now that I look back I’m really happy with the images. The was a massive close and far stacked HDR pano from the base of the waterfall which came out choice I think. A bit more sky action would have been nice, but hey! I’ll have to go back 🤣
You most certainly have the weirdest music of all the Vloggers I follow. Kind of fun though. And some nice shots.
