i was in July 1st week for 10 days. Its so so different in july. Full sun light and so much green. Yes, one can not see Northern light during that month. But Iceland is so beautiful in all the season. Very nice video and so clearly explained for people who want to visit in Mar/Apr.
I've planned a trip next year with your exact timeline from end-March to early April too. I didn't thought the weather can be such extreme. Me too has planned the ring road tour, but it seem will have possibility to cancel the trip to east and northern side if change of weather. Thank you for your sharing, this is indeed valuable reminder. Lastly, may I know which company you engaged for the Katla Ice Cave tour? Thanks!
Glad my video is useful for you. If I have another chance, I would visit Iceland around the mid of August. During this time of year, you can do all things including Ring Road, Ice Cave, Highland, and the northern light with a good weather. I bought ther service from Troll Expeditions for visiting the Katla Ice Cave. Have a good one!
@@OatCmor your footage looks very well done. Was is difficult getting drone footage in places where there were people? Like Seljalandfoss for example? I'm considering buying a drone but I'm worried about Iceland laws in certain areas. The filming was great. I enjoyed watching
@@HarryOsirian Hi Harry. Most tourist attractions in Iceland are vast and spacious. You can take off your drone at a location far from the crowd and then reach an altitude without annoying anyone. The ambient noise and water fall will also help minimize your drone noise to others as well. The restricted area to fly your drone is in the city of Rejkavik. Your remote control will notify you not to fly and it will be locked automatically from taking off. At some waterfall there are birds so be careful when flying not to close to their nests. Do not risk your drone flying if windy. Hope this help.
@@OatCmor thank you so much for the information. I really appreciate it ans it's very helpful. I never considered this. I'm looking forward to discovering your channels. Have a blessed day 🙏🏻

Great video. Can I ask which camera gear and drone you used? What dates did you go? Thank you 😊
Hi Harry. Thank you. We traveled there between 27 Mar - 7 April 2024. I used Panasonic Lumix s5 and DJI mini 3 pro.
