nice place Bilbao - driven through it a few times and stayed overnight once travelling to Spain via Ferry. Learn a few words of Euskara..... they will love you (they hate the castilian spanish). Guggenheim worth a visit for a bit of culture. Once watched Athletic Bilbao play at CD Tenerife whilst on hols

As for a bidding war, it won’t be with Brighton, they’ve demonstrated on multiple occasions over the past 4 years that they either get what they want at the price they want or they go and do just as good if not better business elsewhere. Great place is Bilbao , Connor and they absolutely love Bielsa …. If you get chance get yourself up to San Sebastián too, only a couple of hours on the bus and a stunning place. Enjoy. On Leeds , think the 49ers need to do there magic and generate a bidding war on Summerville if there is the interest , would be a shame to see him go but he is the most saleable asset and it’s not a disaster in the area he plays , with the cover we have.

Explain what the Red Bull deal is exactly? No figures have actually come out and all that’s been said is the sponsorship is a record for the EFL ( so over about £1.5 m tops) and they’ve bought a minority stake. Minority is less than the main stake holder.

Brighton are getting ready for a pre season in Japan, obviously a big thing for Mitoma, and the millions of Japanese seagulls fans, but it wouldn’t surprise me if bids aren’t being lined up for Mitoma, from home and abroad, and that this is simply Brighton contingency planning.

Get a massive sale on academy built player , all profit and lets get this to around 50 million, Liverpool man utd Chelsea may have a thing to say about that , Brighton will make 100 million , there smart , Summerville is hot property .
Liverpool and Newcastle are both somewhat restricted by FFP, Chelsea are ridiculously and stupidly overstretched on FFP and Man U haven’t shown any interest whatsoever, the only club with money to burn is Brighton having made a profit of £120m on most recent published figures and that’s not taking the sales of Caicedo or MacAlister into account. But they’re in profit because they don’t do silly transfer business, and they don’t desperately need this player, because they always have alternatives, and they definitely don’t need to pay more than they want to on any player from any club.

Go learn about FFP and understand how selling a player you basically got for free instead of currently spreading his purchase price, is worth twice the fee you get because it balances the books and supplies financial flexibility, it’s about profit and loss over a 3 year period. It’s complicated, it takes a little bit of investigation and effort, it involves thinking…. Yeah… bummer

I tend to agree. He is a very incomplete player. Not consistent enough in possession and subpar first touch. Needs to add many elements to his game. I doubt there will be much of a bidding war for him. He is young though and has time to improve.
