My first proper video. Apologies for it not being great. This is an install on a Honda CRF250L quiet insert for the FMF Q4 rear pipe. Hope it may help someone out. 👍
Hi there, I went with the Q4 and still found it a bit too loud. Having put the insert in its made quite a difference and sounds nice and not too obnoxious. Thanks for watching
That bolt was indeed a pig. I ended up filing the threads off the first 3-4mm of it essentially turning the end into a guide that dropped into the hole in the muffler. That left me with about 4 usable threads past the body of the insert which was plenty to get it on securely.
Good vid. Did you really find the Q4 too loud as it was, or did you just want it quieter? I almost ordered the Powercore 4 today but opted for the Q4 instead.
I have the Powercore 4 and good god is it loud. Just installed this silencer last night and it's a night and day difference. Maybe I can ride without ear plugs now lol.

I was going to say "you call that a garage that would fit a car?? Reminds me of when we lived in England and what our house called a garage.." Then I saw the plates and was like yup, a car garage only big enough for a couple bikes..
What kind of packing material are you using? I'm looking to repack my Q4, and I am awaiting a response from FMF with their recommendation for the quietest product.
@@greggyboy28 The reason that I asked is because apparently the original fiberglass packing material needs to be repacked occasionally. My Q4 is also pretty loud, so I will try replacing the packing material and if that doesn't work then I will look into getting one of these quieter inserts for it. Mine is loud enough that I am concerned about long term hearing damage...

Will this fit a 2017 CRF 150f
It should do if you have the FMF Q4 Exhaust fitted. Mine was a 2016, don’t think exhaust set up has changed
