As I look at this, I feel like God was drawing her closer and preparing her for her journey home. Her walk with God later in life didn't look the way it looked when she first started off, but I believe God was always with her. That same God was with her the entire time. It's that same God that endowed her with a wonderful gift that blessed many throughout her ministry. We honor the life of Evang. Tarrian Lashun Pace. May she rest in power.

Holiness (being sanctified) is both instant and progressive work of the Holy Ghost that He does in and through those who are called by Him. This work is internal (and eternal) which should (and must) influence the external (speech, clothing, where you go and don’t go, relationships). You obviously don't know the meaning/history of The Book of Titus and you've nere read or studied the Bible in the Original Hebrew OT and Greek NT. The Scripture quoted has been translated into English with words taken out and words added. Also,.if you knew the History of King James, you'd know KJV is one of the worst translations ever.

I do not believe salvation is tied into what we wear, eat or drink. Salvation is about accepting Christ as one’s personal Lord and Savior and knowing who Jesus is and having and maintaining a personal relationship with him. Personal appearance won’t get any of us into Heaven nor keep us out of Heaven. God looks at man/woman’s heart. Anyone can stop doing or wearing whatever and look saved in the eyes of man. However, we have to remember that man does not determine where we will spend eternity. So until ANY of this changes, I will continue striving each day to ensure that my heart is right in the eyes of God, while looking as age appropriate and respectable as I possibly can while I can. Appearance has absolutely nothing to do with salvation. So ladies and gentlemen, continue to look and feel nice while keeping God in your hearts and prayers on your lips.

Don't all yourself to be pushed out of the church. God loves you and desires a personal relationship with you. Come back to the church we are all flawed in some way but as long as your heart is pure towards God and you're doing your very best to live holy God honors that.
You don't go to church for people. You don't let nobody take you out of the house of God. Were you going to church for people or God? God wants a relationship with you and go back to Him and ask Him to send you to a church that is teaching the unadulterated Word of God. We can't question people that said God told them, but we can go and ask God what He thinks about the situation. We all are sinners saved by grace. Come back home to Jesus.

I agree , that African Art is not something that believers in Christ should have in their homes by any means! In college my daughter lived in a culture house on campus with other students and I did not like the vibe or energy when I had the first visit. It was filled with African Art etc Her room was upstairs . I shared some things with my daughter about the Art . She kind of laughed it off & said oh mommy. Let me tell you.. My daughter moved out of that house of her own feee Will & was dialing& texting my phone to tell me of some very strange things that happened during the daytime & how it got worse at night . One of her house mates was home alone mid morning after her first class, she saw things move in the house without any physical assistance., Later the roomate moved one of the pieces of art from the living room to another part of the house . Nobody had been home that morning & when the roommate stepped out & returned the Art was back in the place that she had removed it from. She texted to ask if anybody left class early or came back in the house and everyone was still across campus in class . That’s all I’m going to say,

One time a statue was facing the front door so the roommate turned it around to face inside the house , she told my daughter when she came back the statue was facing the front door . Oh no ! I’d be gone . My daughter took a bath one day before class and she said every time she was by herself In the house she heard footsteps , this particular day when she was bathing she thought it was the roommate coming back after class & nobody was there when she came out . They all had locks on their room doors & everyone’s door was locked as it was before she went to bathe .
As I look at this, I feel like God was drawing her closer and preparing her for her journey home. Her walk with God later in life didn't look the way it looked when she first started off, but I believe God was always with her.

I remember stumbling across an old clip from circa 1989 of COGIC conference and an elder mother was admonishing the women to be careful about the fashions of this world. She addressed the finger nails, hats, hairstyles, etc. Some of the older members of COGIC still hold true to the holiness standards that were once cherished. Mother Arlie Boone comes to mind.

Holiness (being sanctified) is both instant and progressive work of the Holy Ghost that He does in and through those who are called by Him. This work is internal (and eternal) which should (and must) influence the external (speech, clothing, where you go and don’t go, relationships). Just like many church leaders who uses the word for profitable, tax evadation, living large whilst most of its members are on welfare and section eight services walking to church using public transportation yet pastors rolling up in luxury rides and millionaire mansions.
Most black churches/ leaders are so angry when they preaching, when the have to correct a saint etc..and people say well God said "cry out and spare not", yet folks lack the God given ability to see with their eyes the truth about who God really is. What father would want his daughters to lose their madien in such a terrible act? Because 300 wives why not just have 301, or 350? isn't he King so any woman he deemed to sleep with him becomes his wife based on the Bible? Asking these questions really made me a bad child? I do not believe salvation is tied into what we wear, eat or drink. Salvation is about accepting Christ as one’s personal Lord and Savior and knowing who Jesus is and having and maintaining a personal relationship with him. Personal appearance won’t get any of us into Heaven nor keep us out of Heaven. God looks at man/woman’s heart. Anyone can stop doing or wearing whatever and look saved in the eyes of man. However, we have to remember that man does not determine where we will spend eternity. So until ANY of this changes, I will continue striving each day to ensure that my heart is right in the eyes of God, while looking as age appropriate and respectable as I possibly can while I can. Appearance has absolutely nothing to do with salvation. So ladies and gentlemen, continue to look and feel nice while keeping God in your hearts and prayers on your lips.

I agree , that African Art is not something that believers in Christ should have in their homes by any means! In college my daughter lived in a culture house on campus with other students and I did not like the vibe or energy when I had the first visit. It was filled with African Art etc Her room was upstairs . I shared some things with my daughter about the Art . She kind of laughed it off & said oh mommy. Let me tell you.. My daughter moved out of that house of her own feee Will & was dialing& texting my phone to tell me of some very strange things that happened during the daytime & how it got worse at night . One of her house mates was home alone mid morning after her first class, she saw things move in the house without any physical assistance., Later the roomate moved one of the pieces of art from the living room to another part of the house . Nobody had been home that morning & when the roommate stepped out & returned the Art was back in the place that she had removed it from. She texted to ask if anybody left class early or came back in the house and everyone was still across campus in class . That’s all I’m going to say,

My daughter took a bath one day before class and she said every time she was by herself In the house she heard footsteps , this particular day when she was bathing she thought it was the roommate coming back after class & nobody was there when she came out . They all had locks on their room doors & everyone’s door was locked as it was before she went to bathe .
