Grow the economy to fix the deficit, translation I’m not paying taxes. That’s how a billionaire thinks 😂

Bloomberg needs to fact check. The US is not an overtaxed or non-competitive tax jurisdiction for US corporations.

Corporations are NOT people. It's tough to increase prices and pass them on to consumers when those consumers work for said corporations, and the wages are not keeping up with the shareholders' greed. Shareholders may be people, but their interests are not those of their employees.

4:22 imagine, how shocking, a billionaire cannot afford us retiring at 60 or ever
30:00 how come budget deficit can be a priority when world looks on a brink of WW?
34:00 antitrust is an issue? we never had monopolies like big tech or increasingly TBTF corporations larger than most of countries in the world
all just shows how out of touch the owners class has become

Careful with socialist rhetoric like owners class. We all want to own things. We want to own the spoils of our labor rather than having them stolen by government.
The problem is not being an owner. The problem is being a member of the ruling bloodlines such as the papal bloodline, or being one of their lackeys like these Wall Street clowns are.

One question - when the US govt did a bail out of Wall St, did Wall St ever repay?

Thank you all for keeping the conversation going about fiscal policy and about the federal budget and its deficit we need to keep that conversation going we need to to get serious addressing it however we need to discuss how the budget was balanced and started paying down the national debt of the late 1990s Jim perhaps study and even replicate those balanced budgets of the late 1990s then the start paying down the national debt pain down the national debt would mean eventually eliminating the interest cost just like not having credit card debt anymore thank you

Gilliant Tett has a PhD in Social Anthropology (not economics or finance). How is she good at covering international finance?
how does one apply social anthropology to geopolitical risk in financial markets - wow ?!! Answer: confusing the hell out of David
if financial modeling can measure all facts of life from now till the end ... would you not be a/THE god? Her assumptions and assertions cover all bases ... sounding so good but can it be done?

The lady from Maryland, is am elitist working at a mid school, why is she not working at an elite school… winners find a way to win, meaning a student who has a 4.00 plus GPA from a less advantage community has found away to win under extreme disadvantage circumstances, compared to an Exeter graduate who has all the advantages. America

I am a teacher at an school in a disadvantaged community and we have people who have attended Elite schools and they have help reshape our community so God bless schools like: Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Penn, Princeton, and others for understanding WINNERS WIN, some how, some way.
