bonjour, je connais bien ce site et déjà vue le vendeur qui est sympa, déjà acheté le minotaure. vous m'avez donner envie d'acheter ce masque de magicien pour faire Gandalf aussi , et voilà.. je l'attend avec impatience
I have seen a video where a similar mask was slit from the corners of the mouth towards the side of the head. The cut started straight as an extension of the mouth and then kicked up at about a 45° angle at the very end. Then spandex material was glued inside the mask itself, to keep the jaw normally closed like a resistance band. They added some phone behind the chin and it seemed to work well. My question is do you think that any cuts would damage the hair from the beard? Do you think any openings on the side of the face would be covered by the beard? Anyway mine just shipped yesterday so I guess I will see it soon! Thank you for your reply and your video.
While we are on the Gandalf topic, I am trying an alt version as well. I have ordered Jacques super soft middle age man latex face mask from Zagone. I plan to glue a Gandalf wig mustache and beard to that mask to see what it looks like. It will not be anywhere near the quality of Grimeur's work, but it may end up to be very practical for eating and drinking! I will let you know how that worked out when it's finished.
@@toddventure It worked! Fortunately the beard and mustache are great covers for the slice. I extended the mouth opening and cut the webbing holding the hair on with a scissors. And then glued elastic bands from the edge of the mask up to the lower outside corners of the mouth. I brought the bands up at an angle and glued them again in an area between the ears and eyes. The straps are ultimately about 6 in Long. We are about 1 in wide, I used the waistband from a pair of never worn boxer briefs. It was a tough decision to cut that beautiful mask but I'm so happy it worked out I can definitely talk, drink, and definitely eat some small stuff 👍. Of course you can't make expressions with your mouth but I thought this would look much more puppet like and it doesn't. You can even show some teeth! Sorry for the long post just wanted to send you an update.
@@toddventure IS there any issue with no facial expression? Can you talk in it at all? edit- I was talking about the orc mask, there is one very similar to that one on etsy.
Some of the best latex masks I’ve seen 👍
I saw these on Etsy by chance. Amazing masks. I really wanna get one 😊
His work is top notch.
@@toddventure and very reasonably priced. Some others charge a fortune for masks of this calibration.
@@FLAVCO exactly.

Bonjour
Oui, son travail est incroyable. Gandalf a été un personnage amusant et les enfants l'adorent. Bonne chance pour votre projet.
I found this after ordering the wizard from Etsy. Do you think it could be modified to make the mouth move?
Like minds. I had thought about doing the same thing. It's possible but you'd have to sit down and take photos and plan it out for sure.

Is that an Andracor silicone half mask? I didn't see any videos on it and i've been burned on horrid masks so i was cautious about ordering one.
No. This artist only makes latex masks no silicone. www.atelier-du-grimeur.com/
