Although I’m not an ultrarunner, I am also a lover of the outdoor. I like to bag peaks and all I can say is that going through the paincave is such an intense experience. All sorts of emotions. Way to go Billy! Congrats to both of you. Also what a treat watching someone famous like you running our local trails (Eaton Canyon)
I specifically waited to watch this, and my gosh did it take me back. I loved it, so much. It was very real and a great peak into the pain cave as well as the highs. Thank you both for sharing these very vulnerable, intimate, and human moments with us all and allowing me and others to relive the experience from another point of view.

Just threw in all my Running Stones hoping for CCC. (I thought it was a joke when I was told I had qualified for it as well as the full UTMB). Started Watching and not sure if this video is going to get me super pumped or super scared. Oh boy. But so looking forward to your first hand account. I am sure it will be accurate and awesome
