@@mkmechanical Okay thanks. I was thinking it was because of the relatively high speed operation of some of these components and the stress imparted by driving the machine and hydro pump/motor. Working back from ground speed, I found that in mode 1 going 8km/h the sun gear and SU will be turning around 12,000 RPMs. I see that John Deere has substitute parts for almost the entire input planetary. I don't know enough about comparable CVTs and Vario type transmissions to know if they operate at similar speeds.
Great work boys. I'm curious, how much of a premium will the client pay for the job to be done at his place versus you hauling it to your shop?
Considering the cost of transport vs our travel, it would be about the same price

Overcomplexity in my opinion. They are not made badly, but more moving parts equals to a higher chance for failure
