I love that they balance (?) themselves performing at small venue to arena to stadium and whenever festival they wanna do. They're still working hard as if they're still in their debut era, still passionately introduce their music wherever there's a chance. Easy to judge/hate them when you're not in their shoes but Muse will always get my respect and special place in my soul. Wish to see them live before I die.
Watching this, my admiration of Matt Bellamy grows. The amount of load on his shoulders for live performance is extraordinary. He must be exhausted at the end of this? A bloody legend Mr Bellamy. Oh and Chris? You are soooo hot!
Agreed! They’re my favourite band in the whole wide world. Can’t wait for the world tour next year!!! Also this might not be your type of music, but talking about original key for old songs, the band Sparks (check out their album Kimono My House, big influence on Muse) play live still and they are 73 and 75, the singer still sings in falsetto in the exact same key, i saw them a month ago and his voice was unreal!
And if they do change keys, it's bringing Madness slightly down so Matt can go even higher harmonizing with the audience during the climax. The mix isn't as kind to it here, but the Olympic Stadium recording is still one of my favourite live tracks ever.
Was really amazed with The Gallery. What a great moment to take a breath from all that jumping and singing, enjoying the great music at the same time. Hardcore fans were really pleased. Also Citizen Erased (alng with Kill or be Killed) was the highlight of the concert for me when I watched them. Cheers
