    Devin it was my pleasure to make a small donation for your helpful videos. Thank you.
    Will be under my 1992 D21 replacing the clutch hydraulic slave unit this week. 70 years old and still working on my vehicles.

      I hope I can still turn a wrench if I hit 70. Thank you for the donation! Peace and love!

    thanks for posting man. just got my first car (01 pulsar), and would be nervous just playing around with things like this, but seeing someone else do it is super handy

    Thanks for sharing this, it's so rare to find videos for the old Pathfinders. I also have a 1992. Is it possible that I could adjust the tension of my clutch with that rod? My clutch is stiff as hell.

      @SuperchargedPathfinder  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The pressure plate determines how 'stiff' a clutch feels. The rod only determines where the pedal engages. Sorry.

      @@SuperchargedPathfinder Thanks, I will keep reading and figure out how to fix it.

    I've been bleeding across every 6 days for a year and 1⁄2 I think the vibration of the clutch fork is putting air in the system..... A rebuild a damper with versachem mega gray rated at 700 PSI I've never seen a leak I've tested for leaks for over a year I've never felt anything or seen anything so frustrating I replaced the master and slave 8 times.....

      I don't see how the fork could put air in the system. Bleeding the clutch can be frustrating. I did it solo, got great abs from the amount to times i had to get out from under the truck.

      Yes, you can use pliers. You will see a knurled spot on the rod, that is for pliers to grip on to.

    My clutch pedal has no pressure and it can go all the way down and won’t come back up. Unless I reach down with my hand and pull it back up. What could that be??

    • @SuperchargedPathfinder
      @SuperchargedPathfinder  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Could be a few things. A bad master or slave cylinder. A broken or wore out pressure plate. Or a sticking throw bearing due to a worn input shaft.
