My first exposure to his nature documentaries was on the big screen and the big amphitheater lecture Hall in the biology building in my first year university biology animal biology course. I was mesmerized literally transfixed watching those shows he with his fkoppt messy hair coming from all corners of the globe in the most remote and most beautiful places on earth. I could not believe the photography. I couldn't understand how they could possibly capture these shots of these different species. To this day they still resonate with me. He is truly brilliant and truly amazing and still go on strong at what 97 something like that. God bless him. He is an inspiration

We realized a while ago that without all the camera people who sit for hours on end to get the right setting before he turns up. It's the behind the scenes people that do the work while he gets the kudos.
