Man, the 80s new wave bands are timeless music of our lifetime. Echo & The Bunnymen represents that era and the many British artist that made the 80s a glorious era of the British invasion. I grew up listening to new wave in the 80s and they never fade away. This is my band, my music, and my era.
1987 was the best year of my teenage life. I went out with this super cute blonde valley girl in OC Cali and she loved this band. She ended up leaving her cassette in my car too.
How can one song have so many hooks that just grab you? I was in grad school when this album came out. I still have the CD. One note--the chime harmonic--and it all comes back.
Great band with so many awesome songs. Watching this brings me back to my high school days. Echo's music is a welcome companion when I'm driving through the mountains on the way to adventure.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost my account password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@@soulerflare7 I took your suggestion and listened to both songs. I simply love that "sound" that was so popular back then. I listen to a lot of music on 1st Wave and have heard The Killing Moon. I love The Cure and David Bowie as well. I also like channels such as Deep Tracks and Classic Vinyl to catch me some Clapton music as well as Hendrix. Thanks for turning me on to more of Echo and the Bunnymen. Happy New Year.
Really good to see and hear these guys again. Ian Mcculloch is the Only singer for this band, IMO. :) Good going and best wishes to them on their latest release.
You know I was totally into Black Sabbath Zeppelin you know all of that and then you hear bands like this rock bands people trying to say they were not but they were. This is one of the best band that I ever saw in concert band is tight his voice is insane.
How many people here glad we grew up in the 80's!?!
I wish it still was the 80's
I’m my personal opinion this is top 10 greatest songs ever written. When this song comes on the whole neighborhood hears it
That is the only way to play music.....loud.

Echo (Ian) looks really good. The 80s had the best music!
Echo was a drum machine, that Mac got in the early days, the instructions said “welcome to your new Echo Drum Machine “so I read somewhere 😃

Agree. Sergeant does not play the standard rock riffs - he's more about interesting melodies and sounds. A big inspiration to me and many others. :)

You need to listen to " the killing moon " and " the cutter " to name a couple that are better than this song . They have tons of good music .
