Those early 2000's Honda and Acura headlights were very prone to turning yellow. I wouldnt take the new headlights on that RSX-S as it being in an accodent. Theyre cheap and fairly easy to replace
2:20 16g turbo, downpipe, sti pink injectors - this thing is set up for 300hp at the crank once tuned. The autos suck for off the line starts unless you upgrade for a high stall torque converter - then you can drag race those things with that trans. That car is so light, it would really move. I’d probably do a street suspension setup bc right now it looks like it would roll easily.
In 2011 i bought a manual ka24 1991 s13 for 2k. Forget how many miles but it had full exhaust, suspension, and bunch of other parts. Dash wasnt even cracked. Traded it for a streetbike later on.
Bougjt my 99 mazda protege rust free running amazing in classic red with a 5 speed manual for $1450 5 months ago. 205k miles im on the limiter for minutes at a time and dumping the clutch daily and it refuses to break lol. Yes you can still buy nice cars for cheap

The 2012 and under base fiat 500s are actually somewhat reliable especially compared to their later 500s. They came with a NA 1.4l. We have one in the driveway dead stock with 210k on it. With no problems (yet)
My 2012 Fiat 500 with the auto trans is at 176K and has never had drivetrain issues. Most the issues were the valve cover gaskets giving out. In general the NA multi air is not known for issues, its the electrical that gets the bad rep

It’s currently in the hands of my lil bro and runs like a tank. 5-speed manual, no turbo … it’s the happiest goddamn car in the world. If you can find one … they’re so, so fun. They’re endlessly chuckable, and I’d vehemently recommend them. They’re also not to bad to maintain either, most places can work on em without much issue.

The take rate for manuals was pretty high for both saabs and Volvos was pretty high I believe, and even things like the unicorn saab 9-3 with the turbo v6, manual and wagon are only like 10k.
I honestly have no idea what's going on with Fiats 500 in US. All over the world Fiat's engines are dirt cheap to maintain, fix and they're getting some insane mileages. All of that while being regularly abused as pizza delivery cars or some other Uber-specific shitboxes.

Headlight went out, but if you slammed the hood, it came back on for a week. Interior trim fell on randomly, creaks and moans everywhere, shifter was made of Playmobil plastic, the faux leather was paper thin, like the paint. Need I go on?
That said, it was a 1.4 NA engine, made a blistering 101hp and 98(99?)tq. Could not get out of its own way, but when it worked, it was good fun. I lowered it on springs, and did a muffler delete which shockingly sounded good. Overall, would not recommend
VR4s can at least be converted to rwd only and have some American v8 crammed under the hood. The fiat might be good for a K swap but most likely best used as a rebody for a rat rod
Hey don't know how responses are to comments here but I got a 95k mi V6 SLE Solara convertible in fairly good condition, though it needed an alternator, battery, pcm, and serpentine belt. Good brakes and tires, only needed small cosmetic refurbishments. Retailed for 30k, got it for 9k. Good deal? This was from a dealer.
All jokes aside found a nice 2003 yukon for $3500 just last month. Only had a cluster issue and high milage (usually common) but it was due to the previous owners trying to hook up a aftermarket stereo. Steal of a find IMO. Even came with rims and a lift

Skill issue, my mechanic did the timing belt and water belt by jacking the engine up and going up at it through the wheel well
