Just look at that rear wheel design... Like Wow such a perfect match for an already perfect looking naked..... MV always steal my heart when it comes to designing
I’m recently obsessed with all kinds of motorcycles. Never heard of this company until today. Currently on a v-star 950 but if I…sorry WHEN I buy a sport bike in ASDITION to my Yamaha.. it will be this bike. I absolutely love everything about it. Great video!
Nice one Bob. Did you say they both weigh the same? 🤔 If I heard correctly then all the weight savings from the runs and carbon fibre is replaced with the extra weight the semi active suspension. As more of a purist, I’ll take suspension that I can dial into the correct settings I need for the intended ride and put the savings to better use by upgrading gear as one example. Thanks Bob! 👍😎🇦🇺
Yeah that’s it - the forged wheels and carbon are cancelled out by the semi-active gubbins. I’ve been riding a few bikes with electronic suspension recently and I’m growing to quite like it, but you’re right you can just get it dialled and forget about it and you won’t really miss it
@@motobob Or set it for a more comfort and if taking it to a track all it takes is knowledge to know how to best set up a bike correctly for your own weight and make it as sharp as you like. There’s always a reason why this sort of tech isn’t used in the premier class and this over the last 30 years has always been something I’ve paid attention to.
Yep, the RS. Just because you can ACTUALLY enjoy it much more often, and for longer stints in the saddle. Why would you want to give that up?! You CAN buy an MV for looks and stick it in your living room, but that's only a small part of why you SHOULD buy one.
Dude what is your lav mic?! Audio sounds so clear! Love the production quality on your videos! Thanks for sharing the Brutale. Makes me wonder what the most bang for your buck on these rarer one-offs.
As a 6'3" tall guy, who weighs 230lbs, I would pick the RS over the RR. But, here's what I would do, I would put on a pair of BST Carbon Fiber Wheels(with Ceramic bearings) and that would be the ONLY thing I would change on such a bike. No need for modifications as you would do to the hayabusa or bmw s1000rr. This Brutale RS is so beautiful it needs NO modifications(except for the BST carbon wheels as stated)..
I considered buying a second hand Brutal from a used bike shop in Alicante. It was absolutely immaculate, low milage and within budget.....I sat on it and thought Yes! ....Problem!!, the nearest dedicated dealership was miles away....Its undoubtable a great bike from a company with impeccable credentials, however, parts and servicing by a specialist was just so far away I gave up on the idea of buying into this iconic company...I'm a happy bunny on a Triumph Street Triple, perhaps not the same kudos but a lot easier to live with...
Can I suggest Ducati streetfighter, ktm SDR or MT10SP. All those bikes are far more reliable and easier to get parts than MV. InshaAllah that day will come 4 you sooner than you think. 😋
Brutal - name says it all. Even I had the RR I'd still have the riser bars. Subtleties of the electronic suspension would be wasted on me though I like the idea. A wind deflecting handlebar screen would be nice. Is the seat comfortable for a day in the saddle. Scrape the pegs?
the seat is as hard as the bike is fast and gets very very very very hot even on a chill night because of the cross under pipe. But I like how it looks so it does not bother me. I'm 52yrs old 5'7 170lbs so I'm very comfortable in the bike, don't feel cramp or anything.
I love This Bike. If I had the money I would buy the RR version. I dont mind if it is harsh on road or sensitive. That is the MV Agusta way of making the bike
Great video as always - very to the point. Their best bike in the current lineup is the new F3 RR and then the Superveloce. And thats it. Everything else needs a revisit to the drawing board.
Lovely bike, thinking of getting the 2024 model just one thing missing heated grips. So It's a toss-up between the MV Brutale 1000rs or the Ducati V4s.
don’t know which i would pick from this video, because the images kept flashing so fast you don’t get a chance to really look at it. just no way to get a look at them.
That’s a personal choice. I would go for MV agusta every single time. To me it looks better, sound better and is more "exotic". Obviously if I was just rich AF I would have both in my stable
@@thierryfaquet7405 I actually have a 2020 MV Brutale 800 RR and agree with you, but there's just something about the Streetfighter. As you said, if only I could afford both
RS for me if I'd spend that much which I won't and there were any dealers in the U.S well I guess we have 30 or so but for as big as the US is that is super tiny. Amazing to look at same with the super veloce.
@motobob did you had the chance to speak whit timur !? About the new 4 cyl engine !? An 4 cylinder engine over 1000 cc from mv coming around 2024/2025 !
Just 1 question. Before I could differentiate US market and EU market motorcycles for EU market cycles did not require the side reflectors on the front fender just the tail section, now it seems thst both the US amd the EU require them. When did the side reflectors on the front fender become a requirement in the EU?
The bike is all about style but I just don't get that the engine is the star of the show? Yes it's got the headline power figure but lower down in the revs where you would use the engine in the real world, its gutless. So many better, cheaper options out there.
I feel you 6’6’’ here (198cm) and a lot of bikes aren’t accessible to me. I’m glad to be tall but bikes and airplanes are the 2 things I wouldn’t mind being shorter 😅

They also make a 'tall rounder' - the Turismo Veloce. MV should make a model with all the carbon fiber stuffs from RR and the high bars from RS and call it RSR? :)
I don't understand how the engine is the star of the show when nearly every reviewer complains about how asthmatic it is in it's bottom and midrange.
Because people don't understand how the engin is setup. The s1000 suffers from the same issue.

Yes
I will stick with the Z900 rs with the luggage and crash guards that I have fitted highway pegs to. The National Cycle Plexi star windshield. 👍
