Well a great review, of an strange iem.....and WTF with that cable?, i have enough problem with regular ones. missed the comparissons. As you mentioned, what would be a nice sound iem for less than a $100? would be next in my shopping list.
@PrimeAudioReviews now thats a long shopping list. thanks for everything, been learning a lot with you. Hope for a great 2025. See around. Greetings from Colombia.
lol sounds like you had quite the time using that cable. i think it's an interesting iem but stuffing five dynamic drivers per side seems like a gimmick if its sound quality isn't significantly improved. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should kind of thing.
Yeah, can imagine the crossover circuitry if they each specialise each driver in a certain frequency range. Honesty, a lot of it is marketing and a two driver (2DD or 1DD+1BA) is likely more than enough in most scenarios if they want to specialise one driver for bass frequencies. I've also heard pretty decent single DD IEMs that compete well with multi driver ones.
I totally agree! Gimmicky is exactly what came to mind when I first heard of the Five. Very disappointing from 7Hz. The 7Hz Zero 2 was my first IEM and I absolutely love it.
Also, do not forget to use the same driver to produce a different frequency, it is not the best in its production, while there are better driver combinations, each of which is characterized by a specific frequency. I expect that setting 3 will be something special and the step after 2DD, but 5 is nonsense.
I know that more does not mean better, but when it was announced, I felt it was wonderful, because something special or new had appeared, but in the end, it is more than ordinary, and the number of drivers was just for marketing or attracting people, and there is no need for it.😮💨
I guess they count the total number of drivers in the system. It's like saying a pair of stereo speakers and a subwoofer 6:1 because of woofer+ voice coil+ tweeter.
With that in mind how does my mk3 dumpster my entire collection with 10 drivers. How does my dark sabers stage and retrieve better than the monarchs. Driver coherency matters. Its how the cp622b Storm and Trifecta are so cool and unique.
Fantastic honest review. Thank you
Looking forward to that Artti T10 Pro review 👍
I didn't get one! 😢
@@PrimeAudioReviews ah poop
what are those cable? looks nice
It's the ddHiFi Nyx Net!
How does this compare to a 7hz Zero 2, or an Artti T10?
Both of them have more forward mids and better resolution.

Thanks mate! There are many things I would choose over this: 7Hz Legato, Letshuoer S08, SIVGA Que, Simgot EA500LM.

Thanks and same to you!
I got the same cable with the Sonus
Comment for da algorithm
Streak count: 436
Why do you sound somewhat like DankPods lol
such a misleading marketing it's 5 drivers not 10 and you really don't need more then 3
It's pretty extreme!
