The upper of these felt slightly leather like and padded and somehow still thin. And when you’re playing they feel much pliable as the boot starts to warm up. It’s a strange upper to describe because of the mold-ability around the foot! Is it leather like or sock like? I think both 😂. Plus the fly wire made them feel more secure. Awesome boots! i wore these in highschool and scored a lot of goals with them so they have a special place in my heart :)

As iconic as the Hypervenom phantom 1 was and there’s no taking away that the original phantom 1 is one of the all time great football boots. However for me of the 3 Hypervenom phantom boots,I say the 3 was easily the best performing Hypervenom. Amazing lockdown,very responsive upper,one of the best utilizations of the flyknit uppers and plus a very amazing soleplate. when in the right size easily fits well. Just a minor shame the hype of the Hypervenom has kinda dwindled by that point. Lastly always remembered Harry Kane scoring all sorts of goals from tap ins to screamers and that Marcus Rashford’ goals gain against spurs

Thailand's captain, Theeraton favourite boots. He wore various colourways of these ever since it was released. Now Pan (Thai Sports Brand) make a duplicate of this boot so they can add Theeraton to their roster

Omg! Man the new phantom Luna looks like your type of boot. The shape looks like you’d like them a lot. Unisport has posted them and they look like they’re really promising and potentially as good as the phantom or better! The name is super cool too. Luna means moon in Spanish. The phantom moon 😂. They’re catered to women and men to help prevent knee injuries. It sounds like my perfect boot! I can’t wait for your response on them as they should come out soon probably closer to the women’s World Cup. Awesome awesome awesome!

I bought these a few years ago when I was looking for a back up boot to my Mizunos. I wish I had picked up the Magista Obra 2’s that were right next to the Hypervenoms instead😅
These feel TOO padded for my liking and never had a good feel on the ball. The stud pattern is really good though and distributes foot pressure really well.
I recently picked up a pair of NB Furon pro 7s and I greatly prefer those over the HV phantom 3s.

Great vid Noah! Question: I just purchased a brand new pair of Nike Tiempo Legend V, should I be concerned of durability issues considering it’s a boot from 2015?
I would say any time you buy a pair of "retro" boots, durability may be an issue. Some boots last a really long time even if they're from the early 2010's, but some are horrendous on that end 😅

That's the one drawback of this boot in my opinion - the FlyWire laceloops tore sometimes WAY before the boot was ready to be donated or thrown away...

To each his own. I have these and they are FAR from the best for me. too narrow and doesnt break in fast enough like most more modern boots (took about 3 games for me). even after breaking in, still too narrow but i have very wide feet. went up half a size and they fit better but far from a top 5 for me. I would have given u mine if we were the same size haha
There’s certain colorways in the same model that have a stiffer upper. This happened to me with this model when I bought them I tried two different colorways and I purchased a black and white elite pair and they were way softer than the other pair in the same hypervenom 3 model. Had I not given the other softer colorway a try i would’ve said the same thing. But my only nit pick with the hypervenom 3 is the soleplate I much prefered the vapor 11 chevron soleplate at the time.

@@ev1627 I still have the green/orange launch model in ag and they are the best I’ve ever had but they are slowly breaking down.
I had a crimson red backup and they never fit me like the green/orange and they were very stiff as you mentioned, i had to sell them recently.
In was forced to buy some gx and I’m still breaking them in but they are not god tier like the venoms.
