Thanks for the comment Steve, and I totally agree. Different users have totally different and sometimes specialized requirements from TV boxes. BuzzTV boxes are targeted to a specific group of users who are interested in IPTV services. I have a friend who runs one of the services and all he purchases his bus TV boxes.

The Cubes still kick ass, not sure about the s905x4 (haven't tried it out yet) but the s922x is a beast, so far only the Tegra (Shield) has performed better, I've tried numerous devices (gotta whole bookshelf full of them) from all versions of the Firesticks excluding the Max, Onn UHD Streaming, TiVo Stream 4K, Chromecast w/ GoogleTV, x96 ATV Stick, x96 Air, Scishion RX4B, 2 Beelink GT King's, Beelink GT King Pro and 2 FireCubes and to this day the s922x is my favorite

Better to get a firestick or a Nvidia shield.. because most android boxes dont get much updates or have all the apps license.. a next thing..I think more android boxes should be active cooling. It's better for performance.. than passive cooling
I would never recommend anything from buzz tv. I bought an xrs 4900 . I've had nothing but problems with it. It has never had a firmware upgrade ever since I've had it. It crashes constantly. I've messaged them about the problems with it and got told there would be a firmware upgrade soon. Months later and still no fixes or upgrades. Please don't waste your money on anything from buzz TV. There is better boxes that get firmware upgrades regularly.
Also agree I had the vidstick which everyone on techkings bigged up (all the mods there are suppliers /sellers of TV stuff) It was supposed to blow the firestick out the water ...I never experienced that...even though the firestick fell short with around 3gb ram . Hello TV Box Stop: 1) In your video (2:50) you state that the remote is still functional using IR if we skip the BT setup - so I would prefer to skip BT altogether - so does this mean I can use the remote no problem ? 2) Is there any advantages to using the remote with BT ? Yes that is correct if you don't connect the remote via Bluetooth it will still work of your infrared. The advantages Bluetooth is that it's omnidirectional meaning you don't have to pointed in the direction of the box ports to work You can be facing the opposite direction and it will still work. With infrared you must point and click

Hey bro haven't seen you in a while, glad to have you. the XRS4900 is the more powerful model running on Android 9 Pie. The X5 is just the latest S905X4 Android 11. You can't get Android 11 on the XRS4900, but it is still the better box.
There is an issue from what I have been told with Google granting permissions to use their certified version to play Netflix on boxes with greater than 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. I don't have all the information but if you noticed most recent certified boxes that can play Netflix in 4K are 2GB 16GB, and that's not the fault of the manufacturer but some weird Google restriction.
@@tvboxstop suppose to beat the NVIDIA shield all to pieces. I was curios if it had a pcie slot so you could beef up the graphics even more with an external graphics card ,, or if you even need to . Says 8k
I wouldn't recommend it because it's one of those boxes that has a really nice firmware, running on an outdated Amlogic S905x cortex is the one CPU clock that 1.2 GHz.

Its the format. I experienced this before. Try this delete the partition then great a new partition using NTFS. Remove the first drive insert the second one and I have the box formatted to removable storage. Once it's done the box will recognize it as your second storage. Try not to erase the Android folders the box created during the formatting process. I don't know why it does this but that's how I got it to work.
Yes sorry about that you need to delete the partition using your PC first, using the free app Mini Partition Wizard. There format it to NTFS using the same app. Then inserted into the TV Box and have it formatted to portable storage.

@@mrblack576 yes I fully understand what's happening but there is an additional question. When you plug the working flash drive into the other USB port doesn't work? If yes then it means the next flash drive has a formatting issue. That's why I show you how to get formatted correctly.
If I could I would have shown lots of live TV channels and the speed at which they load without buffering. However it's against TH-cam's community guidelines to show anything related to IPTV services. If I do post the video showing a demonstration they will demonetized as I may even receive a strike on my channel. TH-cam has strict guidelines around IPTV and alternative streaming sources if you want to remain part of their ad revenue program.
Their choice of housing has to do with its cooling features. Yes it's not the most attractive but it's metal design is effective in controlling heat. BuzzTV does however provide firmware updates based on feedback from the users so the software issues in the initial release will be resolved.

Buzz do make some of the best tv boxes on the market but the cons can't be looked over..they can do better..

I can confirm with the no firmware update with the XRS 4900. I did however connect the XRS4500 yesterday and received one update.

Got the box this morning and after half a day trying to get it to work decided to return. After the cost of the box found out that I needed to purchase at an additional cost a iptv subscription in order to get it to work. Very disappointed and wouldn't recommend to anyone buying this box

Prime Video/Disney+/HBO Max/Peacock/etc. available in HD/4K. Only Netflix has no special ESN certification available
