Does anybody know as to why they didn’t run Dodge Dakota ARCA trucks? This awesome truck series was a solid stepping stone to the “Nascar Craftsman Truck Series”, but they were obviously smaller & quite a bit less horsepower, but all in all i think it was still a great series 🏁
@@evracer~ I was actually just going to say that they ran 4 cylinder engines. I got to see them race at the 1/2 mile at Delaware Speedway which is just outside of London,Ontario, Canada. They put on a heck of a show & “LOUD!” as well. They sounded like a pack of ticked off killer bees 🐝 lol & they put on an awesome show 🏁
It was such a great racing series. I seen them at Delaware Speedway which is a 1/2 mile oval outside of London,Ontario,Canada which about 2hrs from both Toronto & Detroit. They got flying around the 1/2 mile at Delaware & put on a great show 🏁
Thanks for replying to my comment @evracer 😃 yes i remember there was a lot of fans at Delaware Speedway for that race. I can’t remember his name but his last name is “Churchill” from Detroit & own that trucking company called “Churchill Detroit” i believe is what it’s called?! I was pit crewing for my friend in the old “Cascar Sportsman Series” at Delaware Speedway in the 90’s & into the early 2000’s & then it changed to the underslung pro late model cars. But we really enjoyed the ARCA Truck Series at Delaware.
Was an awesome series

They were running V6s at this time. Eventually went to V8s. I sure as hell would have done this if I'd have had a chanve
Actually no....this was even before V6's. Every truck in this field is a 4cyl. V6' didn't arrive until 03.

@sudsysutherland359 We LOVED racing at Delaware. Literally the best fans ever!

@@sudsysutherland359 still remember the fans at Delaware. It was a long tow but the fans always made it worth bringing the trucks across the border!
