The coach is telling the player to slow down. This is their problem. They are little, compared to Nigeria and other West African countries, which are bigger and slower. When you slow down, you play into their hands because then their slow tackles become more likely to catch up with you. Since they are bigger and more muscular, they have a greater chance to win in such a game.. What the coach needs to do to speed up the game. When you do that, you can catch them off guard, and disrupt their defensive formations, and score within the chaos. In defense speed is equally disruptive as it allows the faster team to get into passing lanes first
