- Jay Muiyuro cannot remember being pain free. Just by looking at her, you wouldn’t be able to tell that she suffers from a rare condition that causes her to experience intense chronic pain in her right arm.
Now, even though she has been forced to live with this condition for the last 7 years she has remained undefeated. She is not a victim she is a survivor. Be inspired by her incredible story of her she overcame the depression and disappointment that had been caused by her condition and discovered genuine love from her family and friends.

She is very modest because when you google this disease its actually the most painful condition know to man. Higher pain index than amputation, childbirth and cancer.

Damn, if the pain index can surpass cancer it must feel terrible.
I've seen the pain caused by cancer, morphine did not even work. To imagine a higher pain index is unbelievable. I hope there'll be a way to manage it.

I was with this girl at Aga Khan Nairobi... She was in Bed 5 I was in bed 7.. We were on pain management at theatre together I guess twice... I know my story would be similar to hers but mine is not about nerves... She shared what she was going through I felt it.. I would like to share my story... The Bible clearly states in the book of Revelation 12:11 that we will defeat the devil by the word of our testimony. You are victorious, you are beautiful.

Pain demands to be felt. And as such we just have two options; it's either it builds us or destroys us. Jay, I am glad you chose to be built and not destroyed. Experience is not what people always term it to be, I'd gladly say Experience came after you chose to ask God to give you strength.

I had a guy friend who had this condition on his leg but unlike the support this lady gets from her family, he on the other hand was the bread winner of all his siblings and was even diagonised with clinical depression. We are no longer friends but I now understand what he was going through. He also found his "Edward" and i'm sure together they will conquer it all.
