Here is an update in case anyone is wondering, probably not but here it is. I bought this mount and sight after turkey season last year mainly because of this review. I got everything sighted in, killed a bunch of squirrels with it in the fall, and I dragged it across 3 states and killed 4 turkey with it. No issues. I have not had to change the battery yet, but I probably will before next spring. The main reason I got this set up over a different one was because I felt like the mounting straps would be more secure because I could mount them on either side of the rib post for extra support from recoil. This thing works great for me.
Have you had to change the battery yet? I am wondering if it loses zero since you have to take it off to change it. In my mind, it shouldn’t of the mount does not move.
It’s the Savage Arms Renegauge 12ga with the Avian X Crusher choke tube. Worked phenomenally this year. Paired with the TruGlo MicroTec red dot and it was a BEAST!

Does it need any zeroing ?
Does the mount work with any optic?
It’s for the TruGlo Trutech Micro sight or a four-post sight.
