I can see him having more team fight potential now, but I just can't do damage to anyone until late game, not to mention carrying a shit team is way harder now
Yeah especially if the enemy groups up and your the only melee hero, I had a rank that is like that and all enemy heroes have cc. We lost my team is too stupid to capitalize. I ate their cc but my team decided to enter one by one.
Tips: Key Words - TRIPLE PASSIVE FOR YOUR FIRST BLOOD Triple Passive in Early Game You can use the triple passive in the early game instead of just two! How? It requires some setup, but here’s how it works: -Start with a full passive charge. -Use Skill 1 + Skill 2, then retreat (don’t trigger the double passive yet). -Wait for your cooldowns, then go in again with Skill 1 → Passive → Skill 2 → Double Passive. -The damage is massive, especially if you’re using a burst build (I’ll explain that later). Early Game Items -With the knowledge of the triple passive, you can build Fury Hammer first before anything else (you can sell it later). This feels like a GIANT nerf. It's not even close. Mid game you could be online, but now you need the late game (and not hard-stomped team, which is impossible).
The developer's said that argus has high win rate in high rank because of his split pushing and great 1v1 potential so they nerfed his unique capabilities and buffed him only for team fight.😂😢
The funny thing is everyone will ran away from argus when his ulting or just chain CC him more than just 8 seconds of his ultimate. The worse part? He was actually better before the update, when his team has no tank in teamfight, but now your just trolling not picking an actual frontliner when his team has no tank.
This adjustment really pummeled split push argus to the ground by deleting the ability to gain malice energy from attacking turret, now he can't really carry on solo rank anymore
Here are my thoughts about the revamp Argus. He's weaker at lvl 1 compared to before revamp. Ult is both offensive and defensive now cause he's passive goes crazy when hitting enemies and in some situations like getting stun lock, he can survive longer. Enemies can also counter him using blade armor since most of argus item is crit. Because of this I would often use fleeting time and pistol as last items.
Argus is now a gambit hero. His ultimate has two stages. 4s and 4s, total 8s (Yes, a huge buff if you can use him right) Taking fatal damage would reset his duration to 0-4s again. Also during his ultimate state, especially in late game, he can easily delete one hero in 1-4s. You have to spend your Ultimate wisely. When you are about to join the teamfights, don't use Ultimate until you reached 3/4 of hp (special timing is needed). When you are going to solo, just use "Skill-1+Skill-2+inspire+Ultimate" (side note: Skill 2 must hit the enemy to slash). This combo can easily delete anyone in 1 vs 1. Also avoid Stun heroes as much as possible. Only solo if the enemy has low hp. Do not waste your core (energy), especially in late game. His energy becomes expensive as the late game approaches. And also, don't be greedy and know when to leave the battle. In late games, if you don't have Ultimate, safe play as much as possible. He is a dependent hero now. Since his ultimate can last to 0-5s (both 2 stages), You can use it as you battle. And yes this Argus update is huge for me. Yes, he is kinda weak(his skill-2 only) but abit stronger in early game. You can easily kill mage or mm in turtle battle to help your roam now. Now Argus becomes hard to use.
I dont dislike this "new" way of playing him at all, i feel he has a LOT of potential, speacially since he seems to work well with flicker and sprint But i think i can speak por ALL Argus users that he still needs a little something, he LACKS something, and every argus user can feel it for sure Maybe a bit of buff on his second skill? As much of I said already the revamp argus have the same playstyle potential as the 2017-2019 version of his ( the og 1 ) I tried recreating that playstyle mixed with the current rotation of his and i gotta tell you it works , I haven't yet tried using sprint argus nor flicker argus with revamp so i might try it later ,,, I'll update from my experience so far this is my build and emblem Assassin emblem ( somewhat better than mm from my experience you need that movespeed and pen rather than attack speed and high physical attack ) Swift ( attack speed ) Master assassin/bargain hunter Concussive blast ( so far this is my best 3rd talent for argus , the war cry haven't yet fallen off its just that im trying to mix gamestyles ( this is before war cry got updated to the game ) / Quantum charge / weakness finder / lethal ignition New itemized alert ( based from my experience) Swift boots Demon hunter sword Wind stalker Berserk Hass claw Dragon spear / sea halberd ( Remember this is only experimental build the current build for me seems off if i tried to mix it with the recreational playstyle ) Spell : inspire ( seems not anymore good through my games so i might try other spells soon ,, I'll update this comment after i played a game of 4 with argus with different spells , emblem and item 4 games each with mix and match ) UPDATE!!! 🔥🔥🔥 ranking of battle spells ( with summarize explanation) 1. Then keep doing the in - out combo poke of argus , Just remember you need to rotate to mid lane before hitting the 5 minute mark this way you'll have your first item before 5 minutes or exactly at 5 minutes , Make sure you last hit minions and farm the jungle side near your turret , try to contest but don't engage if you don't see enemies at the map. Laning phase gold Same with the 14 second rule Rotate at mid ( atleast 2 - 3 times ) before 5 minutes you should have your 1st item ,, Same as exp but more aggressive cause argus have a advantage against mm but what if it's ruby or harith gold ? Same thing to do is poke combo of argus could give you a upper hand you could watch apple argus tutorial for facing exp laners using argus . Laning phase roam Help your jungler at red and purple buff , stay with them until they reach lvl4. By that then you should be atleast lvl2 or 3 , you need to be a little aggressive cause argus just happen to have the skills for a good roamer. Play aggressive when ganking don't try to check bush if still lvl3 ,, just try to give vision or try poking enemy backlines when contesting or zoning objectives. Laning phase jungle For starters most players tend to clear the jungle at the exp lane which is a good idea but here's the thing if the enemies have Helcurt, jawhead or khaleed as a roamer they could steal your buff or clear the green creeps ( which is more effective than stealing the buff if you know they're leashing they're jungler.) so what I did is to clear the jungle side at the gold lane then early gank the gold laner ( I only made them retreat ) then Went back to farming and clear the exp side jungle this way you could do 2 ganks as early as possible with argus remember the gank style with roamer argus ? Yes that's what you'll do with jungle argus remember this is only effective with a trio or 5-man team if your a solo or duo type this wouldn't work . Overall he suck but he have a potential so we could suggest buffing or fixing the ultimate where you could heal at enemy units ( minion, creeps ) and reducing the CD of his 2nd skill would also be a viable thing to make his revamp work properly cause they clearly made his teamfight and initiator capabilities greater in exchange of a "better"argus overall I give this revamp argus a rating of 5.5/10 , 3.5 lesser than the old version and 3 points lesser than the 2017-19 version of argus ( They still have improvement needed to do with this argus )
flicker is really cool, but for some reason i prefer sprint... just the thought of the enemy seeing me run towards them at mac 10 with slow immunity makes me shiver in my timbers.
I'm an argus main, attack speed build doesn't work on him anymore, because when you freaking used your ult everyone just rans away from you and then when it's done they'll just go back to you and kill you especially marksman who have these flickers, I think sprint is good to him aswell, but I personally recommend using flicker, and um use some sustain item on him maybe? it works alot for me I'm on a high tier match and yes his early game is just hugging turrets until you wait for your ult to cooldown but in a high tier match they'll jump in your tower just to eliminate you ofc they don't want you to have your snowball in the first 5 minutes of the game, they'll literally jump in you maybe 3 people will come at you when they know your ult is down, and yes argus is pretty ugly this upcoming season I think I won't see some argus plays in rank games so far. They just did him DIRTY, I wish they didn't removed the regen in the creeps bc it helps alot when there's no creeps also second skill in the minions doesn't work now either he's just trash if he doesn't have any ult left on him. Sadly the revamp isn't effective as much they just nerfed him and called it revamp.
I feel like argus now weaker in the line fase, and a little stronger in team fights, but the truth is argus its no a good option in 3q o 5q, well coordinated teams just delete argus. And the other thing is the meta in xp lane are tanks and comb that can tank damage in the tf

Hmm I've thought of a skill that makes his second a more mobile version where you get 2 phases of a slash with a not too long or too short dash that the first generates an increase malice gain and second gives full bar And a passive to his ult where the enemies hit has a chance for bleed and stack for every demonic slash I feel like its too op But i just really they should just buff his health and deff and increase ult CD trade off(im used to it) to make him a more teamfight hero as they want with options of sustain or tanks But my concern is that immortality is pretty op and can turn tables so making him harder to kill while having a buffed deathless state is the one thing his enemies would want

His ult is not always 8 sec, its "up to" 8 sec. If you didn't get fatal dmg it'll only be 4 seconds, and if enemy can burst him at the first ult in 1 second, then his ult only last for max 5 sec. HE'S WORSE NOW
I've been playing the revamped Argus in Advance server before releasing it to the official server, and I gotta say, it's a good change for Argus to deal against enemies who does have sustain or does not run; but you are right it may have some flaws, that this new Argus will only rely on crits, since we cannot get bonus energy refill on skill 2, and not to mention they nerfed the skill 2 movement buff just for others to escape. So my idea was to cancel or revert the Argus change (their idea), and ask the devs to adjust or change Argus' stats to make him viable or meta again.

Your recomending spell flicker is great. I tried this in classic and rank to escape, chase, and suprise attack the enemies. Even his revamped sucks, the 90% crit build and emblem has a lot a damage like I don't really need inspire spell. Btw, when I fought a sustain heroes and tanks like Yu Zhong, Phoveus, Belerick, Hylos, & Hilda. I didn't use malefic roar, demon hunter sword, and sea halberd because of his crit damage even though they used blade armor and dominance ice (still have to use those items because I lost 6 rounds because of that). Now I'm feeling comfortable of using Argus. Thank you for this video bro! 👍
I used him several times and he is weaker than the previous version. I hope that the mark he puts on creeps has a function since it doesn't do anything. The cool down of his 1st and 2nd skill should also be reduced and the foreswing of his 1st skill should be faster. He should also be able to gain malice energy on turrets like he once did before even if he gains less on turrets
Jungling argus is so much more difficult now. Cant even solo lord and cant regen on monsters. Used to have the choice of whether to continue killing lord or chase the enemy but now u have no choice but to chase the enemy. If not the enemies r gonna poke u and u ult and fightinglord with 1hp with lord and get killed by and lord stolen. And even laning phase is anightmare too when ur facing enemies like chou or benedetta, and surprise attacks from junglers like harley. You eat their skills - you ulted to prevent death - they run away - you cant catch them- you cant regen on creeps. Now you have no choice but to recall to heal and wait 50 sec for the next ult ... Are you fking serious ?!
He needs adjustments for early game like the old damage of his passive back. Also healing from non-hero units during ult and low cool down of ult, 30 sec will be appropriate.

This argus is now all about burst. i use lethal ignition now and blade of despair feels like a must. my build is being like this : Common emblem (i´m still testing emblems but common gave me good results) talents : Fatal, weapon master, Lethal ignition. this is all optional of course items : rose gold meteor haas claws Corrosion Scythe blade of despair berserker´s fury Sea albard y can try this out and tell me what you think. oh and sky piercer is also good
My build: Buy cheap boots for the start of the game. Then buy corrosion scyte. Then buy rapid boots for fast rotation. Then you can buy Haas claw. Then buy Wintalker (can be replaced with Sea Halberd if the opponent's hero has thick HP or strong regen) Then buy berserker fury. Then buy the dragon warrior spear. Boots can be replaced by fleeting time, or other items if absolutely necessary. My emblem is assassin, 5% crit chance and 10% crit damage, 5% extra damage from attack items, movement speed for 1 second and regen. I forgot the name of the emblem. Basically like that. 😂 You can try, Argus now needs crit items and also chases enemy heroes. He is now a bit difficult to chase enemy heroes, unlike the old Argus (nightstalker)
I thought now he really need to have skills at laning instead of just brute force like before like saving your passive to win against enemy properly also with this argus i use him as initiator and bait and let my team finish them off also no more pushing ability means if you want to carry dogshit team its WAY harder
Agree, this new argus isn't a weak one. He definitely feels weaker in early game ngl. But his damage late game is damn broken. I have a 70% winrate Argus, and while I'd still prefer the last season Argus. I have more fun playing this revamp. You just have to be careful early, and farm as much as you can even if your team gets slaughtered. Most games are won by who gets to be fed first. Tbh that 90% crit rate is broken once reached. With this revamp, you no longer have a hesitation of using ult too early when enemies have cc's, you can just straight up absorb all of em. While I don't personally like what they did to his 2nd skill dmg, I'd take it in exchange for better sustainability. Imagine having an ult longer than the 3sec immune of windchant. Just be smarter early game so you won't have problems
Yeah it's good but I think his skill 2 feels incomplete because it's a big fast strong thrust that does barely any damage except mark enemy heroes while jungle monsters getting marked has no function
@ZayedHeroPlays yeah they murdered skill 2 tbh. So all his power curve shifted to mid-late game. Last season argus power curve was somehow strong from early to late thanks to decent skill2 dmg, it's just that his sustain was horrible against high hp fighters, limiting his role as a fighter.

I don't know if I'm cooking or not. Try the support emblem. It gives you +12% healing effect , +10% cd reduction and +6% movement spd ( +3% higher than the assassin emblem). although you may have to sacrifice some dmg in return. But I assure you that he can run fast.
they removing the split pushing Ability so we can participate teamfight more, but he deals low damage and died. In the end he just split pushing for farm. Besides, he got high wr bcs he split pushing.

My new build set nothing different just a little bit Windtalker (primary bcz its not critical reliant so corrosion makes no sense in first) Haas claws (since he lost hp gain from minion) Sea/ corrosion your choice Dragon spear Berserker fury Bod Emblem:- marksman emblem to compensate the attack speed lost Earlier argus i use assassian emblem now i use mm emblem 5% critical chances 7% more damage in lone hero And consecutive 5 hit attack boost (i forgot name so i wrote description) Sprint or flicker. (inspire is useless now) My total damage in 4 sec is 51k damage and this can wipe out entire 5 of them seriously
He's more powerful in teamfights,but his ability to zone the enemy by split pushing,is very weak. Demon Hunter Sword is the only item that can help argus with increasing his dmg.But I'll still use Inspire with him.Heres my build "Corrosion Scythe, Wind talker,Haas Claw,Berserker's fury,DHS (for dmg) and either Great dragon Spear, Malefic Gun Or Bod For dmg,Bod is for burst dmg (If enemy physical defence scales from 0-220 then buy Bod,if enemy has 300 or more physical defence buy malefic gun,there's only 2 hero I know that has that much defense,those are Grock and Gatot.You can buy Great Dragon spear for movement,CRIT chance and cd.) The emblem is the same as the video,the battle spell depends on your choice But if you want to buy boots,then try to buy the red roaminf thingy (it gives 15% attack speed,30 physical attack) Play style ~ His play style is really changed. 1 Play safe.His dmg doesn't exist before you unlock his ult. 2 Instead of depleting the turret hp,go kill the jungle camps if they are still there.Then,go and break the turret(you still need to prioritize plating tho) 3 if you have 4-5 items,only then you can fight the enemy head on.
For me it's good cuz i got two to three maniac ngl you need to adjust to the enemy cuz new argus is only mid and late game not early and now he's a full carry
Some people dont like his adjustment I think this is mainly due their old playstyle. But his revamped really changed your playstyle because you can use your ult more often(as long as the extended duration is not triggered)
This argus does have potential but argus already used to struggle against the new heroes and having potential isn't really a big help,old one was arguably way better I only played 2games with him tho,i should try your build
i think the revamp argus is now better to use damage build sens his passive is faster to regen if he use ult well most argus use ult to survive and attack but when i use attack speed feel like i don't have damage
Could you try windtalker, haasclaws, rosegold meteor sword, berserks fury, greatsword (20% crit idk how its called), corrosion scythe, assasin talent with emlbem 1 marksman, emblem 2 (whatever honestly either marksan or assasin) then emblem 3 the one that reduces cd by 1.5 in a span of 4 seconds and inspire or any other battlespell. Would love it if you gave it a shot ngl
you can sell the bots and buy another wind talker and with the 2 wind talker you have the 20% mov speed from the boots and have more attack speed and 105% crit rate
You know skill 2 + basic spell + basic attack was insane for the previous Argus...if only they didn't nerf that..then it would be Skill 2 + basic spell + basic attack And then when hp drops then comes the ult power...that would have been insanely dangerous 💀 But sad to say..I can only depend on ult now😭
I don't think trinity won't work now since his passive has been changed, but with critical, his fighting potential during clash is powerful, making it reliable to a team fight and turn the tide of tables.

U have longer immunity but you are more scared of chasing enemies because if you don't lay ur attacks during the chase u end up with one hp and the enemy can outplay u easily. What is moonton doing to argus holy fk !!! I cant even use my ult whenever i want, 50 seconds is almost on par with inspire cd. A hero whose long cd ulti doesnt affect creeps and monsters is atrocious
Use the emblem assassin its the only way argus can have good movement on him and start to play after you got two items cuz i got a good kill count in mid and late with 0 to 2 death's
Una cosa que todos estan haciendo mal es ponerle guadaña de corrosión, ya no la nesesita con la capacidad de daño que ahora tenemos con la ulti, y la capacidad de acumular hasta 3 pasivas. No les voy a dar mi build pero solo les digo que en casi todas estoy saliendo maso menos 14 3 8 (en promedio). Pista tampoco lo llevo con ruido maléfico, considero que con la ulti usada correctamente ya es más que suficiente. Edit: incluso llega a ser contraproducente ponerle la guadaña porque perdes daño en comparación al enemigo en el juego temprano (debido a la disminución del 20% en su pasiva)

Te escribo con la esperanza que leas mi comentario, te quiero dejar una build para argos que me parece que le sirve mucho (se que dijiste que ya no lo vas a usar pero talvez con esta aún haya esperanza) se basa en : 1ro botas(dependiendo de la composición enemiga, y seran vendidas en late por el rugido maléfico); 2do berserker; 3ro hablador del viento; 4to garras de haz; 5to meteoro de oro rosa; 6to cazador de demonios. Básicamente esta bulid se basa en darle sustentabilidad al héroe además de daño, como podrás observar ya no le equipo corrosión ya que a mi entender es un grave error ya que con la ulti(usada correctamente) seremos capaces de hacer un gran daño en poco tiempo evitando las persecuciones (y por ello siendo innecesario el uso de este item). Tampoco le equipo rugido maléfico por una razón similar (además de que el objetivo es matar al adc, mago y combatiente para lo cual estaremos sobrados). Por último los emblemas que he probado es el de asesino con +16 de daño, 5% de descuento y talento de movilidad al golpear. The purpose of this build is to survive while your out of ult and he can burst a lot now,is good in late game btw just always target mm and assassin and mage and last for tank Ang fighter and do push , dragon spear is good for him you need to timing it and wat for cool down
What I love about this rework is that if your using crit build, in the late game if you pop ult and attack someone + 2nd skill, you literally just spam argus passive😂and they die instantly
For some reason, Moonton always messes up the revamps and adjustments for basic attack fighters. At this point, just give them good early game jungle clear

Tips: Key Words - TRIPLE PASSIVE FOR YOUR FIRST BLOOD
Triple Passive in Early Game
You can use the triple passive in the early game instead of just two! How? It requires some setup, but here’s how it works:
-Start with a full passive charge.
-Use Skill 1 + Skill 2, then retreat (don’t trigger the double passive yet).
-Wait for your cooldowns, then go in again with Skill 1 → Passive → Skill 2 → Double Passive.
-The damage is massive, especially if you’re using a burst build (I’ll explain that later).
Early Game Items
-With the knowledge of the triple passive, you can build Fury Hammer first before anything else (you can sell it later). This is especially useful if you’re not using Inspire as your spell.
Fury Hammer is cheaper and offers better early-game poke potential compared to Swift Crossbow.
-Although it has -5 damage compared to Swift Crossbow, Fury Hammer gives penetration and works well with the item to build it, Dagger.
-You’re not relying on basic attacks in the early game to build your passive anyway.
Combining Fury Hammer with the triple passive trick is a game-changer-or at least, that’s how it feels for me.
Ultimate Usage
Don’t hesitate or hold back your ultimate because:
-First, it now deals AoE damage.
-Second, a significant portion of your damage is tied to it compared to the previous version.
-Third, as long as you avoid fatal damage, the cooldown isn’t too bad.
Build Options
There are two main builds I recommend:
-Crit Build: This is similar to the one shown in the video, your usual crit build.
-Burst Build: Use Assassin Emblem with "Thrill" "High and Dry" and "War Cry." For this build, the first two items you buy should be BoH and Hunter Strike. I use this build in niche situations where I can guarantee first blood.
Spell Options
Your spell options are much more flexible now,don’t limit yourself to Inspire! While it’s a strong choice, here are other options to consider:
-Execute: Works well with both builds, especially with the triple passive trick and Fury Hammer. This combo can deal roughly 3,000 damage, letting you finish enemies with Execute.
-Sprint and Flicker: These are excellent against slippery enemies, especially with the rise of heroes like Layla and Sun.
-Petrify: Great for team fights and catching enemies. I often use this when playing with my squad

This feels like a GIANT nerf. It's not even close. Mid game you could be online, but now you need the late game (and not hard-stomped team, which is impossible).
The developer's said that argus has high win rate in high rank because of his split pushing and great 1v1 potential so they nerfed his unique capabilities and buffed him only for team fight.😂😢
The funny thing is everyone will ran away from argus when his ulting or just chain CC him more than just 8 seconds of his ultimate.
The worse part? He was actually better before the update, when his team has no tank in teamfight, but now your just trolling not picking an actual frontliner when his team has no tank.

This adjustment really pummeled split push argus to the ground by deleting the ability to gain malice energy from attacking turret, now he can't really carry on solo rank anymore
Here are my thoughts about the revamp Argus. He's weaker at lvl 1 compared to before revamp. Ult is both offensive and defensive now cause he's passive goes crazy when hitting enemies and in some situations like getting stun lock, he can survive longer. Enemies can also counter him using blade armor since most of argus item is crit. Because of this I would often use fleeting time and pistol as last items.
Focus on carries more and they can't build blade armor
Argus is now a gambit hero.
His ultimate has two stages. 4s and 4s, total 8s (Yes, a huge buff if you can use him right) Taking fatal damage would reset his duration to 0-4s again. Also during his ultimate state, especially in late game, he can easily delete one hero in 1-4s.
You have to spend your Ultimate wisely.
When you are about to join the teamfights, don't use Ultimate until you reached 3/4 of hp (special timing is needed).
When you are going to solo, just use "Skill-1+Skill-2+inspire+Ultimate" (side note: Skill 2 must hit the enemy to slash). This combo can easily delete anyone in 1 vs 1.
Also avoid Stun heroes as much as possible. Only solo if the enemy has low hp.
Do not waste your core (energy), especially in late game. His energy becomes expensive as the late game approaches.
And also, don't be greedy and know when to leave the battle.
In late games, if you don't have Ultimate, safe play as much as possible. He is a dependent hero now.
Since his ultimate can last to 0-5s (both 2 stages), You can use it as you battle.
And yes this Argus update is huge for me. Yes, he is kinda weak(his skill-2 only) but abit stronger in early game. You can easily kill mage or mm in turtle battle to help your roam now.
Now Argus becomes hard to use.

As much of I said already the revamp argus have the same playstyle potential as the 2017-2019 version of his ( the og 1 ) I tried recreating that playstyle mixed with the current rotation of his and i gotta tell you it works , I haven't yet tried using sprint argus nor flicker argus with revamp so i might try it later ,,, I'll update from my experience so far this is my build and emblem

For early game do the 14 second rule of change item
Sell boots before 13 seconds then swap it for normal dagger
Don't be aggressive even if your opponent is squishy wait until your lvl2. Then keep doing the in - out combo poke of argus , Just remember you need to rotate to mid lane before hitting the 5 minute mark this way you'll have your first item before 5 minutes or exactly at 5 minutes , Make sure you last hit minions and farm the jungle side near your turret , try to contest but don't engage if you don't see enemies at the map.
Laning phase gold
Same with the 14 second rule
Rotate at mid ( atleast 2 - 3 times ) before 5 minutes you should have your 1st item ,, Same as exp but more aggressive cause argus have a advantage against mm but what if it's ruby or harith gold ? Same thing to do is poke combo of argus could give you a upper hand you could watch apple argus tutorial for facing exp laners using argus .
Laning phase roam
Help your jungler at red and purple buff , stay with them until they reach lvl4. By that then you should be atleast lvl2 or 3 , you need to be a little aggressive cause argus just happen to have the skills for a good roamer.
Play aggressive when ganking don't try to check bush if still lvl3 ,, just try to give vision or try poking enemy backlines when contesting or zoning objectives.
Laning phase jungle
For starters most players tend to clear the jungle at the exp lane which is a good idea but here's the thing if the enemies have Helcurt, jawhead or khaleed as a roamer they could steal your buff or clear the green creeps ( which is more effective than stealing the buff if you know they're leashing they're jungler.) so what I did is to clear the jungle side at the gold lane then early gank the gold laner ( I only made them retreat ) then Went back to farming and clear the exp side jungle this way you could do 2 ganks as early as possible with argus remember the gank style with roamer argus ? Yes that's what you'll do with jungle argus remember this is only effective with a trio or 5-man team if your a solo or duo type this wouldn't work .
Overall he suck but he have a potential so we could suggest buffing or fixing the ultimate where you could heal at enemy units ( minion, creeps ) and reducing the CD of his 2nd skill would also be a viable thing to make his revamp work properly cause they clearly made his teamfight and initiator capabilities greater in exchange of a "better"argus overall

5.5/10 , 3.5 lesser than the old version and 3 points lesser than the 2017-19 version of argus ( They still have improvement needed to do with this argus )

I'm an argus main, attack speed build doesn't work on him anymore, because when you freaking used your ult everyone just rans away from you and then when it's done they'll just go back to you and kill you especially marksman who have these flickers, I think sprint is good to him aswell, but I personally recommend using flicker, and um use some sustain item on him maybe? it works alot for me I'm on a high tier match and yes his early game is just hugging turrets until you wait for your ult to cooldown but in a high tier match they'll jump in your tower just to eliminate you ofc they don't want you to have your snowball in the first 5 minutes of the game, they'll literally jump in you maybe 3 people will come at you when they know your ult is down, and yes argus is pretty ugly this upcoming season I think I won't see some argus plays in rank games so far. They just did him DIRTY, I wish they didn't removed the regen in the creeps bc it helps alot when there's no creeps also second skill in the minions doesn't work now either he's just trash if he doesn't have any ult left on him. Sadly the revamp isn't effective as much they just nerfed him and called it revamp.

If you didn't get fatal dmg it'll only be 4 seconds, and if enemy can burst him at the first ult in 1 second, then his ult only last for max 5 sec. HE'S WORSE NOW

I've been playing the revamped Argus in Advance server before releasing it to the official server, and I gotta say, it's a good change for Argus to deal against enemies who does have sustain or does not run; but you are right it may have some flaws, that this new Argus will only rely on crits, since we cannot get bonus energy refill on skill 2, and not to mention they nerfed the skill 2 movement buff just for others to escape. So my idea was to cancel or revert the Argus change (their idea), and ask the devs to adjust or change Argus' stats to make him viable or meta again.

Your recomending spell flicker is great. I tried this in classic and rank to escape, chase, and suprise attack the enemies. Even his revamped sucks, the 90% crit build and emblem has a lot a damage like I don't really need inspire spell. Btw, when I fought a sustain heroes and tanks like Yu Zhong, Phoveus, Belerick, Hylos, & Hilda. I didn't use malefic roar, demon hunter sword, and sea halberd because of his crit damage even though they used blade armor and dominance ice (still have to use those items because I lost 6 rounds because of that). Now I'm feeling comfortable of using Argus. Thank you for this video bro! 👍

I used him several times and he is weaker than the previous version. I hope that the mark he puts on creeps has a function since it doesn't do anything. The cool down of his 1st and 2nd skill should also be reduced and the foreswing of his 1st skill should be faster. He should also be able to gain malice energy on turrets like he once did before even if he gains less on turrets
His skill 2 definitely needs change but I don't think they will make him better in split pushing again

Jungling argus is so much more difficult now. Cant even solo lord and cant regen on monsters. Used to have the choice of whether to continue killing lord or chase the enemy but now u have no choice but to chase the enemy. If not the enemies r gonna poke u and u ult and fightinglord with 1hp with lord and get killed by and lord stolen. And even laning phase is anightmare too when ur facing enemies like chou or benedetta, and surprise attacks from junglers like harley. You eat their skills - you ulted to prevent death - they run away - you cant catch them- you cant regen on creeps. Now you have no choice but to recall to heal and wait 50 sec for the next ult ... Are you fking serious ?!
How can you jungle him? The only version I found easy to jungle is the 70 sec ult version..

Then buy berserker fury.
Then buy the dragon warrior spear.
Boots can be replaced by fleeting time, or other items if absolutely necessary.
My emblem is assassin, 5% crit chance and 10% crit damage, 5% extra damage from attack items, movement speed for 1 second and regen. I forgot the name of the emblem. Basically like that. 😂
You can try, Argus now needs crit items and also chases enemy heroes. He is now a bit difficult to chase enemy heroes, unlike the old Argus (nightstalker)
I thought now he really need to have skills at laning instead of just brute force like before like saving your passive to win against enemy properly also with this argus i use him as initiator and bait and let my team finish them off also no more pushing ability means if you want to carry dogshit team its WAY harder

Agree, this new argus isn't a weak one. He definitely feels weaker in early game ngl. But his damage late game is damn broken. I have a 70% winrate Argus, and while I'd still prefer the last season Argus. I have more fun playing this revamp. You just have to be careful early, and farm as much as you can even if your team gets slaughtered. Most games are won by who gets to be fed first. Tbh that 90% crit rate is broken once reached. With this revamp, you no longer have a hesitation of using ult too early when enemies have cc's, you can just straight up absorb all of em. While I don't personally like what they did to his 2nd skill dmg, I'd take it in exchange for better sustainability. Imagine having an ult longer than the 3sec immune of windchant. Just be smarter early game so you won't have problems
Yeah it's good but I think his skill 2 feels incomplete because it's a big fast strong thrust that does barely any damage except mark enemy heroes while jungle monsters getting marked has no function
@ZayedHeroPlays yeah they murdered skill 2 tbh. So all his power curve shifted to mid-late game. Last season argus power curve was somehow strong from early to late thanks to decent skill2 dmg, it's just that his sustain was horrible against high hp fighters, limiting his role as a fighter.

It gives you +12% healing effect , +10% cd reduction and +6% movement spd ( +3% higher than the assassin emblem). although you may have to sacrifice some dmg in return. But I assure you that he can run fast.
Any cooking is valid but I like marksman emblem the best because I'm not using inspire anymore
they removing the split pushing Ability so we can participate teamfight more, but he deals low damage and died. In the end he just split pushing for farm. Besides, he got high wr bcs he split pushing.

I like your idea of using Flicker rather than Inspire in order for you chase down or surprise an enemy hero or use it as an escape when your getting overwhelmed
Also yeah, I feel like they should buff Skill 2's damage and let the passive generator work on minions or jungle creeps it just felt really terrible when you miss it on an enemy hero
Yeah flicker has alot of uses instead of just killing someone faster and yes skill 2 needs a change

My total damage in 4 sec is 51k damage and this can wipe out entire 5 of them seriously
He's more powerful in teamfights,but his ability to zone the enemy by split pushing,is very weak. Demon Hunter Sword is the only item that can help argus with increasing his dmg.But I'll still use Inspire with him.Heres my build

For dmg,Bod is for burst dmg (If enemy physical defence scales from 0-220 then buy Bod,if enemy has 300 or more physical defence buy malefic gun,there's only 2 hero I know that has that much defense,those are Grock and Gatot.You can buy Great Dragon spear for movement,CRIT chance and cd.)
The emblem is the same as the video,the battle spell depends on your choice
But if you want to buy boots,then try to buy the red roaminf thingy (it gives 15% attack speed,30 physical attack)
Play style ~
His play style is really changed.
1 Play safe.His dmg doesn't exist before you unlock his ult.
2 Instead of depleting the turret hp,go kill the jungle camps if they are still there.Then,go and break the turret(you still need to prioritize plating tho)
3 if you have 4-5 items,only then you can fight the enemy head on.

Some people dont like his adjustment I think this is mainly due their old playstyle. But his revamped really changed your playstyle because you can use your ult more often(as long as the extended duration is not triggered)
This argus does have potential but argus already used to struggle against the new heroes and having potential isn't really a big help,old one was arguably way better

i think the revamp argus is now better to use damage build sens his passive is faster to regen if he use ult well most argus use ult to survive and attack but when i use attack speed feel like i don't have damage

Could you try windtalker, haasclaws, rosegold meteor sword, berserks fury, greatsword (20% crit idk how its called), corrosion scythe, assasin talent with emlbem 1 marksman, emblem 2 (whatever honestly either marksan or assasin) then emblem 3 the one that reduces cd by 1.5 in a span of 4 seconds and inspire or any other battlespell. Would love it if you gave it a shot ngl

you can sell the bots and buy another wind talker and with the 2 wind talker you have the 20% mov speed from the boots and have more attack speed and 105% crit rate

I actually did not need sprint in that game that's why I changed to flicker
I don't think trinity won't work now since his passive has been changed, but with critical, his fighting potential during clash is powerful, making it reliable to a team fight and turn the tide of tables.

You can still use trinity but I'm playing CRIT because I always liked it more
U have longer immunity but you are more scared of chasing enemies because if you don't lay ur attacks during the chase u end up with one hp and the enemy can outplay u easily. What is moonton doing to argus holy fk !!! I cant even use my ult whenever i want, 50 seconds is almost on par with inspire cd. A hero whose long cd ulti doesnt affect creeps and monsters is atrocious

Before, I could easily get away with 70% crit but now 90% feel like almost a must. Build is limited.... again.
Good thing is 90% CRIT build doesn't need duplicate item
Use the emblem assassin its the only way argus can have good movement on him and start to play after you got two items cuz i got a good kill count in mid and late with 0 to 2 death's

Argus needs more mobility so that he COULD really become a good teamfight hero
Una cosa que todos estan haciendo mal es ponerle guadaña de corrosión, ya no la nesesita con la capacidad de daño que ahora tenemos con la ulti, y la capacidad de acumular hasta 3 pasivas. No les voy a dar mi build pero solo les digo que en casi todas estoy saliendo maso menos 14 3 8 (en promedio). Pista tampoco lo llevo con ruido maléfico, considero que con la ulti usada correctamente ya es más que suficiente.
Edit: incluso llega a ser contraproducente ponerle la guadaña porque perdes daño en comparación al enemigo en el juego temprano (debido a la disminución del 20% en su pasiva)
La única razón por la que construyo corrosión es porque también quiero empujar torres.

For some reason, Moonton always messes up the revamps and adjustments for basic attack fighters. At this point, just give them good early game jungle clear
The only basic attack fighter that received good adjustment in this patch is Aulus
Argus is never a basic attack hero, hes always a passive reliant hero (ult too)

That's the same thing that I said, I go WT, Scythe and Claws, next The Axe, Demon Hunter and lastly the Dragon Spear.
Windtalker has no damage boost so turret pushing is alot weaker and overall slower that's why I buy corrosion first

Petrify is also good and is used before aswell, as I said you can change the battle spell based on what you think is helpful in the match
