I was actually there the day he did this, the hot Saturday of the Open. I saw 3 shots of his that day, so I feel about 5% responsible for the great round.
Good stats about scoring on that course. First time I have seen that. Really good to know. And Pete, it is a scramble. You don't have to do a "legal" drop. Just place it. Move it. Who cares? it's a scramble.

This is the some of the very best content you've produced, Pete. Great idea for a series, great chemistry between you and Fryer, and a great effort by the boys to raise the production value through the roof. Little touches like motion tracking the pin/front/back distances, motion tracked tracers, reaction shots under the scorecard, fun Easter eggs in the graphics, the retro '80s aesthetic... you guys are really raising your game. You should be super proud of this level of quality 👏👏

I just love Matt’s commentary. Truely enjoyable to hear the jokes y’all do back and forth, then Matt gets analytical about shot and I know I understand about half of what he says.

Awesome drill. The tension created in the shoulders in the cack-handed take away is a great feel. Now, I can take that to the course and incorporate it in my pretty shot routine. Well done, and thank you very much for the tip.
The single best thing about TH-cam golf in 2023 is the collaborations between Finchy and literally anyone. Pete just makes any video better so I'm hoping you connect with Lithuanian golf legend Sidekick Matt while he's in the UK.
Great video! I was at Birkdale the day Branden Grace shot this record, it was incredible. Fryer mentioned how bad the weather was! It was like mid winter and raining like Noah. Therefore remember that Grace had softer greens to fire at which helped. You guys are firing at tiled bathroom floors! Love this format.

Don't beat yourself up too much, guys. That was one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I have ever watched. It's up there with Mcilroy's round at St. Andrews in 2010.

The only way to make this better is to have Branden Grace narrate your round as you went hole to hole either encouraging or mocking you as required. Its an excellent video, love Matt and Pete's collaborations.
Fryer sneaky grew a large channel with a lot of followers. Pre pandemic like 50/60k now 200+. I’m not surprised love watching Matt play. Finch Fryer combo is a win win.
