I just happen to have several of those crates . So this is a win , win for me. Those crates have gotten expensive, but if you catch them at Joanne's at the regular price and they have one of their 50% or 60% of coupons, then that is a very good deal. Love the ideas.

You should really consider ironing your fabric before adhering/stapling it down for an upholstered look. The look of all the folded lines on that first one would drive me batty.

Based on the price of wood these days, it would be much more expensive to make them yourself unless you used free pallet wood but then the time would cost you even more. Get them on sale and focus on making beautiful projects. 😊
