    I know this comes very late, but I am watching all these now... so wonderful! It just occurred to me as an extra far-fetched musing on the idea of the dramatic rising and elegant relaxation of the begining of the prelude, setting up structures for the different movements... Perhaps one could also see the a rise and fall in the bigger picture, at least in the way that you have described each movement: The first three movements are rising in intensity culminating in the courante, the sarabande is in another world and the last two movements kind of elegantly and softly bring us back down... I know very far-fetched but it just occurred to me :)) again thank you for all these amazing videos!!
