How amazing to witness pop icon talking in depth about book with author Olga Tokarczuk. Showing ( again) how preconception is wrong. Both showing sensitivity and warmth with ease and knowledge. I really enjoyed this conversation , thank you.

i think the process that the meat is eaten in is the important part because it puts you in touch with how the animal lived and what is required to turn that animal into food. i think more responsibility should be available for people who want to eat meat, and that should benefit everyone. also better plant based diets can help this process. the only reason at this point that things like bad meat trade occur is greed. we have the technology to create a sustainable food cycle, and what needs to change most is the overall level of human discipline, as well as an understanding that what is desired is a moderation and medium approach, not an extreme change in either direction toward meat consumption or total veganism. mainly because the same problem of responsibility applies in the direction of farming, in that harmful environmental and lifestyle practices can occur by such things as improper land fertilization, worker comp, etc, once again only caused truly by greed since we have the technology for proper education and the limiting factor is our discipline and ability to work together.
