Thank you for the tour. Who are some of the major employers in Sumter, or do people that live there tend to work outside of Sumter?

Hi thanks for stopping by and I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
To answer your question we a lot of military presence here thus promoting lots of government jobs.
Another large employer here is continental, the tires plant but they offer many other positions.
Another one is Tuomey Health and Morris college.
Overall, manufacturing, healthcare, and government.

The local Hospital, Continental Tires, Shaw AFB, City of Sumter, e-Vac (batteries for EVs) opening soon, and other major manufacturing companies from medical supplies, and paper production, and of course retail.
