Hey, thanks for watching. Both were Manatee County Mosquito Control Trucks. The 2016 GMC 2500 4X4 had 98,882 miles, a 6L gas engine and ran. It sold for $21,100. The 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 4X4 had 76,256 miles, a 6L gas engine and ran. It sold for $25,800.
@@retiredandwingingit thank you for the quick reply! That’s about the price I’ve been seeing them go for, was hoping they went for slightly cheaper at auctions
The government cars and trucks at this auction used to go for a lot less than retail, but lately that’s not been the case. Two bidders have been buying up ALL the good cars and trucks, driving the price up. Although every now and then you can find a good deal.
@@retiredandwingingit well I have my current truck but need something slightly bigger, have a lot of tools and toys that I need properly put into a truck instead of behind a seat or in the bed tool box
Thanks for the comment. From my experience with this auction each car is checked to make sure the engine cranks up and runs normally and the car can be put into gear and drive forward and reverse without any problems. Any problems will be noted. I've been very happy with what I've purchased from this auction, but I only buy certain government agency cars and I never buy one of the private cars. I don't trust the private cars.
Both green air compressors said "unknown if works" which most likely means they weren't hooked up to see if they worked. The Speedaire sold for $700 and the older Champion sold for $300.
@@retiredandwingingit , I have tried Copart and IAA. The shackles are completely rusted out and frames is in bad shape. I have friends who live in the Tampa Bay Area.
What the address and date of auction?
Thanks for the comment! See tmauction.com
Those Xs are letting people know that the windshields are cracked. X marks the spot.😅

The next auction will be next Saturday and they are supposed to have a lot of trucks, but I think most are 1500s.
What is the name of this auction in Florida? Auction link would be helpful. Thank you.
@@russwright64It’s in the comments.

Interesting to see, but would be much much better if you would show some results.
I agree. That will be an upcoming video!

I’ll check and get back with you.

I’m looking for a truck to replace my truck that is rusted out.
Hey. Thanks for the comment. There are lot of really nice trucks there. But I would stick with one of the government trucks.
@@retiredandwingingit , I have tried Copart and IAA. The shackles are completely rusted out and frames is in bad shape. I have friends who live in the Tampa Bay Area.
You might want to get your friend to check out the trucks for you and then you can bid on one on line.

What year was that black Cadillac
I'll look it up and get back with you.
The black Cadillac was a 2009 CTS4 and had a transmission issue. There was also a 2008 DTS and a 2012 CTS4 Cadillac.

I'm just showing the equipment. I don't know much about any of it, except for the government cars and trucks!
If you can't spell, don't comment.
