No need to apologize. Seeing Wemby get posterized was satisfying.

Steph Curry’s hook shot vs the clippers in the 2021-2022 season. I admit he was out of bounds, still cool though.

What about Embiid's like 3/4 quarter shot from the opposite free throw line to almost tie the game against Boston but just released it right after the buzzer? That shot was INSANE

Andre Iguodala through the legs behind the back lob to Shaun Livingston. For some reason that was the first one that popped in my head.

Absolutely agree with your #1 pick. Getting past Wemby's long arms...and that streeetch while maintaining control by Ja Morant is as good as it gets.

One of the best videos ideas ever! Sometimes the fact it didn’t happen during live play doesn’t take away from the magnificence of the play

Since there's a couple times you counted offensive fouls, Aaron Gordon's insane dunk over landry shamet should have been here.

Nice list, enjoyed that Video. Thanks!
Just a suggestion for the next: maybe show the play once with the real audio. Commentary and crowd reaction really sometimes elevate a Play to the next level. :)

I'm happy for this video just to see the Ja Morant dunk immortalized. That dunk needs to be in a time capsule. It's the best dunk that I've ever seen. No one handed dunk has ever been cocked back so far ever. It's like bending a GI Joe action figure arm backwards. Absolutely nuts. This counter acts ESPN trying to gaslight us into believing that this dunk is meaningless to try and protect the chosen one.

If i remember corrctly, there was a time Kobe threw down a putback dunk but whistle was blown cuz he hung on the rim? I think he posterized Hakeem there...

I'm italian, so i'm legally obligated by the constitution to remind of when Marco Belinelli inbounded the ball to himself using an opponent back to hit a game winner buzzer beater. If it counted it would have been one of the best game winners ever.

5:47 I think the offensive foul was called because RJ was grabbing and holding Michael’s arm down, preventing a block attempt.

In game 4 of the 1990 nba finals, Portland's danny young made a half court shot at the buzzer, but got it off too late. Portland would've won if he got it off in time

Hi Jonny! If you haven't already, would you please consider ranking what you consider the deepest teams in NBA history? I feel it would be a different list than the best NBA times of all time, because IMO in that case the focus seems to be more on the few stars that play together, rather than on the construction of the rosters as a whole. For example, I don't think the 2013/14 Spurs have a case for one of the greatest teams ever, but they do for one of the deepest. Thanks! Love your work!

Michael Jordan vs the Lakers in 1991 Finals. He was fauled while being back to the basket close to free throw line. He threw the ball up and it got in. Any list without Michael is incomplete.

Yeah, I was about to post the same thing. That shot was a thing of beauty, topped off by MJ's lack of a reaction, as if he knew it was going in.

I once saw a short where Larry Bird tossed the ball behind him without looking after a whistle, from around the free throw line, and it went in. Sadly, that short has since been removed and I haven't been able to find the event elsewhere. If I remember correctly, the court was red, and I'm mostly sure that the opponent's jersey was red as well, or otherwise white. The video quality wasn't good for making out numbers and faces, unfortunately, so my guess is early to mid eighties.

I believe Steph Curry has several crazy flip the ball up so high layups after he got fouled which should be put on the list too.
On another note, Blake Griffin used to use his off hand to shove his defenders' body or even face out of the way on his way to dunk, it's an offensive foul but he got away with it so often.

VIDEO SUGGESTION: who would be the GOAT Head Coach for each NBA team?
VIDEO SUGGESTION: what are your opinions on players/coaches being omitted in future anniversary teams. so far Bob Davies and Joe Fulks are the only two players who made an anniversary team (25th anniversary) who didn’t make subsequent ones. Bill Fitch and John Kundla are the only coaches who made the top 10 anniversary team but not the top 15 anniversary team. really Doc Rivers is better than John Kundla?
