Awesome game room, whenever you see a set up as nice as yours the internal mood lighting always has to be set to green with envy. Thanks for the tour Gemma!
Awesome! I became depressed seeing your great collection. In my 35 years old i have only one console per generation and some games in physical format. Next to you i realized that the end i was not a fan of videogames as i thought. Maybe Im dedicating to design dresses. Thanks Gemma! ^_^
lovely as always yes that you Gens😝 Secondly snake eater is also my favourite I felt the story was solid and the characters were amazing. oh and I'm still watching your vid lol
Just discovered your channel and I love what you're doing! needledd to say you've got a new subscriber and I will pass the word around! Also I loved the intro!
Awesome game room. Doesn't bother me if things are not in alphabetical order. Everything looks neat and there is a great selection of games and consoles to enjoy and that's all that matters. Regarding mood lighting. I have a render farm server area in my basement and I purchased 16 foot long RGB LED lighting from Amazon. It includes a remote and it only uses 3AMPs to power the entire thing, very low powered. The strip itself has an 3M self adhesive so you can stick it onto the shelving itself. With the remote you can set individual colours like red, blue, green, purple etc.. or you can have it cycle through colours fast slow etc.. It was $35 Canadian, and only took a couple of days to arrive.
Great room! Mood lighting - buy some of those "garage inspection rod-lights". They just plug in, and are a 12" strip of LED lights. People use them to look around engines, under cars etc. Very bright, no heat, uses very little power. Here in NZ they're
That was awesome, and thank you for the mention :-) I can't wait til I buy my own place (renting at the moment...) and can have a games room in my own vision. I'll definitely be getting a console cube shelf like yours. Love how neat and tidy it all is. But you gotta get alphabetical! haha
Totally envious of yours and Jess's little gaming heaven there. I could spend hours and hours in that room. I did notice the lack of leg room under your desk station there. That would drive me mental. I need to stretch out at my machine.
your room is like, my goal! love the SNES collection. i used to have a SNES when i was younger with link to the past, super mario world and desert strike. now, luckily, i found four swords/link to the past on game boy advance, but would rather have the SNES alttp. currently in my SNES collection i have jungle strike boxed, super mario kart boxed (the... black box?), kirby fun pak boxed and mortal kombat 2 - not boxed. would love more games for the system, but the bigger titles always seems pretty expensive. what's a really good kind of obscure title?
Thanks. The SNES is the ultimate console for me. Obscure titles? On the SNES? I saw a Blockbuster competition cart of Starwing at an expo recently. That's pretty obscure. There's loads. Soul Blazer is another good one
Hi Gemma, great room and on the lighting ideas I had that issue in my game shed. Now I bought some led strips which are all individual and come with two little brackets. There really easy to fit, just a little screw in each little bracket and just plug them in! Easy. I am gonna try and do a very basic game shed tour tomorrow and upload on TH-cam, bear with me though as I've never done one before so will probably be rubbish. But it will hopefully give you some ideas for your lighting.
+TheGebs24 I got them from Amazon, there £16 for four lights, so basically four cubes. Only down side there is a few plugs. Would I be able to post some pics on your Facebook page? Sorry I'm not up to scratch with Facebook as I'm not on it but my wife is.
Great video Gemma, the room looks great. You can also pick up this kind of thing at IKEA, we have some in our kitchen to light a worktop under some cupboards (they are called DIODER and cost £30). You can also go crazy with all the Philips Hue stuff but they seem a little expensive.
That's a really cool setup. I like the different colored/coloured mushrooms going up the side of your shelves. I'm surprised you don't have a Neo Geo AES/CD or a PC Engine/Turbo Grafx-16/Super Grafx/Duo but all that stuff is getting pricey. I love the console layout though. Those shelves are really nice. Really awesome setup! :)
I need to kick out a family member so I can get a dedicated games room! Yours looks really good and NO DUST or PET HAIR! How the smeg do you do that given your work, YT commitments and your numerous cats? Hats off to ya!
Great tour, really enjoyed seeing all the bits. For the mood lighting, I would just bite the bullet with IKEA lights, as they are really well suited to what you want it for.
Wow, what an amazing space! I'd come all the way from New Zealand to have the chance to alphabetise your games and spend time amongst such gaming-beauty! :-)
Libby! More Libby :). Thanks for talking about the PS2 Baldur's Gate. That is a great game(along w Baldur's Gate 2:Dark Alliance). It's a shame that Snowblind or whoever the developer was went under and we never saw the BG3 that had a trailer @ the end of BG2. Both games are different but very fun in themselves. There are just subtle things that make both games fun- great music in both (customization of weapons, branching paths in BG2). More fun better enemies in BG1 (at least in the 1st two acts- up to the Frost Giants White Dragon, then the game gets boring w the lizard men). The music in BG1 is so atmospheric and small things like the shadows cast by torches are impressive!
Awesome tour, really impressive stuff. I like watching game room tours, they always inspire, motivate or remind me of things to add to my collection. (From this video it reminded to pick up - Hardback strategy guides for Farcry 4, Watchdogs and Skyrim - A crystal Xbox - Red Wii - Shenmue boxed - Boxes for PS2 and Xbox - SNK vs Capcom SVC Chaos - Turok for N64 - Your Japanese GameCube games reminded me to pick up Snatcher and Policenauts for PS1 as they were only out in japan all stuff that has been on my list for a while). I thought Metal Gear Solid 3 came in a clear case, like the second game, at about 9.05 you have a copy of MGS3 with a clear case on your shelf...yet the sealed copy you have is in a blue case? Does this have the official PlayStation seal on the shrink wrap or has it been re-wrapped (I notice this re-shrink wrapping is happening a lot esp on eBay), just curious as I never knew MGS3 came in blue cases, maybe it was a later release? Do you buy NTSC SNES and N64 games just for collecting purposes or because they run at 60hz... do you notice the difference in game play speed? Do you take suggestions for future videos? Would be interesting to know like... top 3-5 controllers top 3-5 console designs top 3-5 best looking or favourite strategy guides/covers top 3-5 best looking game cover art top 3-5 games you want but will probably never own because they're too expensive How's the Final Fantasy collection going, any update videos planned?
Wow what a great comment! great attention to detail! Okay so I'm guilty of neglecting my FF collecting right now. I swear I'll pick it back up! As for recs, hell yeah! I like the look of the bottom one... keep an eye out :D Thank you Gemma
Great collection, I like the way you display them all. Your sealed PS2 games maybe reprints, late in the PS2 life a range of classic PS2 games were re released around 2008 onwards I think. You often see them pop up on eBay from resellers not disclosing this. Maybe check the dates on the back of them. Take care
WOW!! cool video! The "master system" (first model) is crowning the shelves of consoles, if you put an "Atari Lynx", and "Videopac", and would be perfect !! XDD Awesome collection!! and great distribution of the space!! :)
Very cool collection! I started collecting around 3 years ago. Very expensive hobby collecting some of the older things. I'm scared to display my collection due to me having young children - sticky fingers and all that! Can I ask though, do you worry about sun damage / yellowing NES and Gameboy consoles?
Thanks. I have the best guide ever for yellowing of consoles: www.juicygamereviews.com/retro-blog/the-amiga-500-from-bright-yellow-to-white-againalmost
That is one amazing games room! Great to see a young lady gamer on here. I am so bored of seeing dudes show their game room off. Game on and keep the awesome vids coming.
I have a weird thing with alphabetising, I really really love doing it. Like I would have so much fun sitting in your game room and putting it all in alphabetical order. It's just so satisfying :')
It's fun to see a collection with PAL games for something different. Do you generally try to stick to PAL still or do you just go with price and availability now? Nice collection and video!
You do perlers too ? Nice, I just start to do perlers but I have done Mega man bosses like Fire man and Pharaoh man. But the perler beads are absolutely pain in the ass to get in here, there is only a one store which sells the beads in my city. =/ I have one SNES cartridge what is Harvey two-face, it´s yellowed at one side but not at another side.
Wow, your original GameBoy is in much better shape than mine. There's no yellowing on it at all! The tower of boxes remind me of Jenga. XD Every time I see a model I Genesis/Mega Drive, I always wonder if the owner has the Master System adapter for it. Do you have the adapter?
LOL Ive never seen PAL ps2 cases and the funny thing is for me is I live in Toronto, Canada whenever i bought copy games when i was teenager they all were in PAL style artwork.

nice room tour. you have so much shit that you have to put stuff on the floor cause there is no other place. lol. kinda like me. lol. enjoyed watching the long awaited room tour.
Yes, I only buy the amiibo I like for gaming and doubles for collecting (unboxed). I also collect the Star Wars Disney Infinity characters I have doubles of every Star Wars character one for unboxing for gaming and the other boxed for collecting I love the light-up light saber characters they are awesome. Disney have cancelled the Infinity video game line which means they will become rare I will become rich and ...........I know I know can't I just dream? :o) and yes I am a bit of a Star Wars nut too!
Baldur's Gate on console, saddens me. I was a huge console fan up until the PS2. But BG is just so much better on PC. Hell it was so good I bought 2 copies so me and my brother could play through it together. Great room though.
gonna disappoint you gebs my favourite console of all time is the neo geo aes cause all I wanted to do as a child was go to my local sea side town and play arcade, and I fell in love with super side side kicks and samurai showdown and as a teen when I was wagging school I could be found in my local arcade golden nuggets where I used to play for free #MyNaughtyAuntie

Everything looks awesome. Thank you for showing off all your game room. Great video to watch.

haven't yet used them myself, but a friend has said I should use one to light up the marquee on the arcade game machine I'm building :-)
That was awesome, and thank you for the mention :-)
I can't wait til I buy my own place (renting at the moment...) and can have a games room in my own vision. I'll definitely be getting a console cube shelf like yours. Love how neat and tidy it all is. But you gotta get alphabetical! haha
Aww you heard. Thanks mate :) I will also alphabetise soon lol
`Either that, or at least colour match. I'm a bit OCD, but saying that your room looks incredible. Thanks for sharing
Nice setup Gemma.Awesome collection and game room tour.At some point I'll have to do a game room tour since I'm in a new place and have more room.
Coolio
Look at you using LEVEL UP ;) Thanks again my friend! I saw that "Young Girl" you put in there too lol
Hehe. Gotta love some Tek Force ❤️❤️❤️
Totally envious of yours and Jess's little gaming heaven there. I could spend hours and hours in that room. I did notice the lack of leg room under your desk station there. That would drive me mental. I need to stretch out at my machine.
It's ample for me :) :)
Very awesome collection! Love how much stuff you have the boxes for.
Thanks Dennis
Awesome stuff Gemma....can't help but feel a little envious xD
I've worked hard for it mate :) :) :) Thank you
your room is like, my goal!

Fantastic games room Gemma some really rare titles. Loving your Snes games especially.
The SNES is my baby lol
Awesome games room! Also, excellent choice on Tatsujin for the Mega Drive. :-)
Thanks for watching
I'm so jealous of that signed NES, great stuff :)
Great video as always,Gemma. Keep up the good work !!!
Thanks Sandy

Baldur's Gate was so fun, I had a blast playing that game too.
Baldur's Gate FTW
love the setup, mad dope

Nice room, Gemma. It already seems to be quite busy in there. What do you intend to do as the collection grows to combat clutter and such?
Move house

Thanks Gemma!!! Love it! Subbed!
THANK YOU
Nice collection, Greetings from Los Angeles California.
Hello there Cali!
+TheGebs24 Hello!!! I found out about your channel in a Retro Gamer Magazine, you have a very nice collection.
So nostalgic seeing that Amos box again and those floppy cases . wow that takes me back !
Was surprised you didn't own a Vita?
I store games in the order I've written about them which makes sense to me .
If you're buying Mega Drive you should look into Alessia Dragoon .
I do own a Vita. It was sat in a case above my PSP games. To the right was the PS Vita Adventure Pack
Looks great it's so hard to find a place for collectors editions and system boxes and I didn't see a top loader nes did you get them in the uk?
resident evil for sega Saturn! well that one is rare i guess... hahaha awesome collection by the way! xoxo
Thank you Gabriel
love hearing the Doom intermission music.
Only thing the shelf needs is a Neo Geo!
You collection is very good for the eyes hahah, excellent room o/.
Thank you
You do perlers too ? Nice, I just start to do perlers but I have done Mega man bosses like Fire man and Pharaoh man. But the perler beads are absolutely pain in the ass to get in here, there is only a one store which sells the beads in my city. =/
I have one SNES cartridge what is Harvey two-face, it´s yellowed at one side but not at another side.
At times I find Beading super relaxing yeah :)
Nice neat set up! You could have put a disclaimer up that there would gratuitous shots of a Pit Fighter cart though!
Lmao Mark! Sorry hehe
Loving the games room!
Thanks mate
wow I would love that room
Wow, your original GameBoy is in much better shape than mine. There's no yellowing on it at all!
The tower of boxes remind me of Jenga. XD
Every time I see a model I Genesis/Mega Drive, I always wonder if the owner has the Master System adapter for it. Do you have the adapter?
I don't have an adapter saldy :(
... UNSUBSCRIBED! LOL, I'm kidding. :D
i really love your gameroom.

Awesome room gem :)
Thanks
If you get the opportunity to play the demo for Gravity Rush 2 on PS4 at EGX do it. It was at Japan Expo in France so I think the worldwide tour for the game has begun. It's coming out this year. An event in Tokyo on July 19 will announce the release date and animation collab + composer Tanaka will have a mini-concert. Unfortunately no livestream.
Thanks for the rec
I'm getting to the stage where I don't know where to put shit lol.. the only bad thing about collecting..finding that valuable space

Awesome games room Gemma + the cute cat, only two amiibo? not a collector of amiibo?
Nah I'm not a big fan of them. Are you?

I also collect the Star Wars Disney Infinity characters I have doubles of every Star Wars character one for unboxing for gaming and the other boxed for collecting I love the light-up light saber characters they are awesome.

Akita FTW
Marry me Becca! lol love your game room! greetings all the way from panama!
amazing room. Don't suppose u want a lodger by any chance.
Lol Barry
Such a shame to see so many games going digital only these days. I wish devs would at least design covers for us to print off.
I'm not a huge fan of digital downloads
Baldur's Gate on console, saddens me. I was a huge console fan up until the PS2. But BG is just so much better on PC. Hell it was so good I bought 2 copies so me and my brother could play through it together.
Great room though.
I didn't play it much after the GC and PS2 tbh
The clear Xbox is quite the treasure.
MASSIVE treasure
Damn...Hey beautiful ! subscribed
En...That's great :)
Do you play pc at all?
gonna disappoint you gebs my favourite console of all time is the neo geo aes cause all I wanted to do as a child was go to my local sea side town and play arcade, and I fell in love with super side side kicks and samurai showdown and as a teen when I was wagging school I could be found in my local arcade golden nuggets where I used to play for free #MyNaughtyAuntie
Iv never understood how anyone can like every different type of game, im picky when it comes to games and like to save money lol
And what kind of games do you like?
Wow wicked. 😀😀

Thanks
Zelda Link to the past is the holy grail of retro gaming followed by castlevania 4 and Fahrenheit on the Xbox and anyone tries to troll this comment can💩
