Oh sweet baby Jesus, you can’t imagine how incredibly excited I am to find this! Radiohead has been my favorite band since Pablo Honey was released when I was in graduate school! Yes, I’m old. I cannot begin to thank you enough for uploading this amazing performance! Thank you!!
Radiohead and I hate Pablo Honey, during an interview about why the band never played Creep live, Tom said "Fuck Creep". I was in front of my TV with the VHS ready to record that day, that explains why some songs are played several times, there was a mini concert for the viewers and a real concert for the public (You say you'r old, I am French, perfection is not of this world). A few days later I was under a marquee in a parking lot in Saint Denis listening to Sigür Ros then finally Radiohead at its peak (I could say that to my grandchildren, well if I ever had one). Just this weekend I bought the reissue of Ok Computer on vinyl, I plan to do them all in this format (except Pablo Honey😂). Really I cry for them. It's the first time I really have to lower the bass on a vinyl, this reissue of Ok Computer is really very rich (more than the 1997 cd). Well, I'm going to listen to Pablo Honey again, I must still have the tape copy made at the time, I copied it in 1994, maybe my mourning for Kurt made me miss it something.

The beginning of the concert was broadcast live in June, the rest was reserved for the public present, Nulle part Ailleurs was only broadcast live. However, I saw them in Saint Denis a few days later. Always a great memory.
Hello, touchant ton message. 😉
Phil disappeared completely during HTDC! The ondes players on that first performance though, sounds so amazing, I think it’s my favourite live performance of it, even though no drums.
Anecdote that you probably know, HTDC was written and played during the 1998 Ok Computer tour, its first title was How To Diseaper Completely (and Never To Be Found). Tom at that time could no longer stand the media pressure to make it a masterpiece. th-cam.com/video/1BJwPP3J8Qw/w-d-xo.html

Jonny during soundcheck, tunes the radio to about 3 or 4 channels which he thinks could work with the song, then saves them as presets and switches between during there performances. Hope this helped!!
@@thom4443 Thanks, that's really cool! I saw them live in the Pablo Honey era (!) when I was a wee teenager, but never made it to another concert in those groundbreaking years. I just love the crowd's reaction and was wondering if it had to do with the words.
Hello to Japan from France. I have been asking myself this question for 20 years. Ask the pinned comment, a great Radiohead specialist and the creator of this video, hoping that he will inform us.
It's an Ondea (well, apparently they have like 5 of them here, which is exceptional.) It's a modern "remake" of the early 20th century electronical instrument called an Ondes Martenot. Check out CS Levine's channel, I believe he is one of the Ondea players seen in the video, on the left side of the stage: th-cam.com/video/GM5W4NeBHcY/w-d-xo.html
it is to hide certain MTV logos and not to have this videos deleted. But I am not the creator of this video, I put it back after deleting the channel Of the original creator (pinned in comments)
Hello! Would you happen to have/have a link to the audio files for all of these? I’d love to get the ones that weren’t broadcast like the first set and pyramid song afterwards.
Yes indeed, you don't know! I am authorized to post the content but it is the property of the French TV channel Canal + and only they have the right to monetize this video. However, since many of my videos have been blocked lately, I strongly encourage you to download the audio part using the free converters available on the internet. My goal is to share my collection, if I were completely free, this channel would have four times more albums and concerts and without advertisements (ultimately the goal of TH-cam is for you all to take the premium subscription). If money was my concern, I'd be a lifestyle influencer or do shit on Tik Tok. It's just a bit painful to have to explain this over and over again after almost 7 years of existence on TH-cam. Download the video or just the sound bank: x2download.com/fr210/download-youtube-to-mp3
UK... For those who would have thought that you lived inside such a poor, cute little dog. 😂 Tell me, why is the best music always British, whatever the era ? I'm French and our music is very rarely acceptable, invaded by singers of insipid variety. Thank you.
Yea, by Thom Yorke and these other guys too.. Thom's son is not too bad as well. Curious about what their new project the Smile (or something like that) will have to offer. Music industry should put in place experts to judge on good music. Btw ..that industry is dead already. Artists will make nft records by themselves..no labels..

This was magic at the moment
THANK YOU!!!
I can’t thank you enough for this
With great pleasure.
Waouw. Merci. Thank's a lot bro ^^
@@thekoxviexperience ... Je me souviens.
I was there. My first Radiohead concert. It was recorded in April, but I believe it was broadcast in June.
The beginning of the concert was broadcast live in June, the rest was reserved for the public present, Nulle part Ailleurs was only broadcast live. However, I saw them in Saint Denis a few days later.
Always a great memory.
@@thekoxviexperience this is not exactly true. They started over midway and the second half was broadcast on TV (minus the Cinnamon Girl cover).
@@KoubiakI'll check when I get a new vhs, I was watching TV and copied the broadcast part (in sublime mono quality on a 2 head vhs 😂).
Absolutely amazing. Thanks for this. Blown away. Again.
And he speaks French: He seemingly does it all.
Merci beaucoup.
Grande Radiohead y Salvador Allende.
Once again, thank's for sharing.
2017 n 2018, one of the best radiohead "live presence" on history.
Hello, touchant ton message.
35:30 Fred Testot and Omar Sy ^^
WoW top commentateur sur cette vidéo. 😂
Damn Greenwood trippin with the voice of Yorke into the Kaoss pad.....what a freaking good idea

I love the angry version of Packt in the first section the second one is cleaner but man the first one rocked. It my opinion it's one of their most overlooked songs and I love the studio version as well.

I had a bootleg of this show on 💿 (that's a compact disk aka CD for those born after 2010) and listened to it everyday for years. Actually, who am I kidding? If you were born after 2010 you're not watching this.
Ho soon... Very certainly like me, in your life, you listened to discs much older than you. Radiohead already appeals to young people and will continue to appeal. I would have liked to have a copy of this bootleg but I had the chance to see them the next day (or two days later, failing memory).

@@thekoxviexperience moi j'aime tom yorke.

👍 excellent like good vidéo
RADIOHEAD, inmejorable. !
wow, Idioteque is so intense here
Can someone tell me about the sample of what sounds like a speech around the 5:15 mark? Who is it, and what speech/what's he saying? Thank you! Radiohead captured a really specific angst that was palpable in 2001. I was 19, their music totally shaped me as a future adult human!

25:48 I don’t know the instrument what they use. Please teach me. (from Japan)
Hello to Japan from France. I have been asking myself this question for 20 years. Ask the pinned comment, a great Radiohead specialist and the creator of this video, hoping that he will inform us.
It's called ondes martenot
@@moch.farelyuanpratama6444
Thank you so much. Strange that in English, he kept his French name.

Bouleversifiant..!
Je l'ais encore boulversifié :-)
How come some videos are full screen and others are transparent in the centre at a weird angle?
it is to hide certain MTV logos and not to have this videos deleted. But I am not the creator of this video, I put it back after deleting the channel Of the original creator (pinned in comments)
Hello! Would you happen to have/have a link to the audio files for all of these? I’d love to get the ones that weren’t broadcast like the first set and pyramid song afterwards.
playlist plz
Hi, playlist and timestamp are pined on the ciments. Good listennig ;-).
Love this show and thank you very much for posting it but man puting ads on a video that isnt even your content is.. i dont know
Yes indeed, you don't know! Download the video or just the sound bank:

As we say in Yorkshire (UK) ... this is cock on.
UK... For those who would have thought that you lived inside such a poor, cute little dog. 😂
Tell me, why is the best music always British, whatever the era ?
I'm French and our music is very rarely acceptable, invaded by singers of insipid variety. Thank you.
Is music like this still written?
Yea, by Thom Yorke and these other guys too.. Thom's son is not too bad as well. Curious about what their new project the Smile (or something like that) will have to offer. Music industry should put in place experts to judge on good music. Btw ..that industry is dead already. Artists will make nft records by themselves..no labels..
Labels and streaming platforms are too greedy.
Most likely, gotta go looking.
