- Hey all! As teased in my community post, we have the finale of Vulkan vs Magnus, from Echoes of Eternity. This video was supposed to be after Aurelian, however chainsawsubtlety9828 gave a little hint in the comments on Kharn vs Erebus that this video was being anticipated, at least by them. So here we are! As always, I cannot recommend you go and read the whole book for yourself.

Haven't listened to it yet, I only subscribed a few days ago. I'll listen to it tonight. I love a bit of 40K as I'm trying to get to sleep.
@@chainsawsubtlety9828 hahaha, yeah I've met a couple. Although my channel has other stuff on it too, such as gaming streams, so it's more likely that that small percentile is from those. Yeah Vulkan is absolutely awesome, even as a Fists/Night Lords fanboy it's impossible to dispute. Vulkan is tje GOAT.
Fair warning on my rendition of In a Sunless Realm, it's prior to new mic, and the pace is a lot faster than the newer vids as it was ky second one. Although I will maintain for that particular video it was fitting, a few commenters agreed also

I have one recommendation, which it seems like your working on bc it wasn't very noticable in this vid, but for example in the rogal dorn vs fulgrim vid, when you're reading the narration between fulgrim and rogals voice acting you talk pretty fast and it's hard to understand.
I actually had to work on that myself, and still find myself going too fast sometimes, like my brain is moving faster than my speech can handle and I kinda roll every word right into the next.
I've always felt like my brain would've been set up way better for an east Asian language like chinese or Japanese where it's spoken a lot faster than English.

You do some good voices, bro. Do you do it in one take or did you record each voice separately, then piece it together?
So my process is like kind of both. I'll get the excerpts ready, hit record then start rolling, and will keep going until I've finished. Sometimes I'll do dialogue lines multiple times, to do a different style of voice or try an alternate tonality. (And of course sometimes I'll mess up and have to do the line again.) Then once I've finished where I want to leave off, I'll stop and cut any unwanted bits out. Probably a bit of an odd process but it's what works for me, lol. Thanks for the compliment btw! For every video I've done so far I'd already read the book in the past. I love the 40k universe and have done since I was a kid, but I'll usually givr a cursory read over before I record, to make sure I've got the right part! And no problem, always got time for people who take the time to comment 😁

Why does Magnus insist that Emps never told him about the webway and that he was ignorant of it, when 'A Thousand Sons' showed he WAS told of it? Unless Magnus is just trying to lie to convince Vulkan
