- Today I'll be guiding you trough my 100 hour journey of pokemon emerald! I have been playing pokemon for over 15 years at this point and have probably played trough emerald itself over 200 times by now. So today i set myself a bunch of challenges to try and complete in 100 hours let's see if i can complete them!

Being a gamer for 10+ years Pokemon Emerald still has the throne for my favorite game ever. Nothing will ever beat the sheer nostalgia I get from simply hearing it’s music. Golden days
fire red is pretty cool but it doesn't matter because emerald has better story,rival and the kid doesn't go t mountain just to be defeated by some trainer(gold)
Definitely. I still randomly get tunes from this gen popping up in my head here and there, and I can never get tired of these games. Gen 3 is the best

I have seen a lot of zwiggo vids but this is definitely which shows his dedication the most. Pokemon games are long by itself but 100 hours my man I won’t be mad if he doesn’t upload for half a year.

I hope you realise that zwiggo doing 100 hours is so much more than the 16-20 hours minecraft 100 days videos are.
As a minecraft lover, (before knowing pokemon but still know whats going on) this comment must be in the top
ikr. it takes about 20 hours to do 100 in game days in minecraft as well as these challenges are way harder to do (eg beat enderdragon could be sorta hard but takes less than 20 minutes). this is 100 hours instead of in game days so he put in 5x the time
100 x 20 =2000 minutes
Because 10 mins irl = 1 day not night in minecraft
2000 ÷ 60 = 33.3
So a total of 33 hrs not including editing per 100 days minecraft video

I really enjoyed this, are you planning on doing more of these in the future, like on different Pokemon games?
It'd be nice if they made trade evolutions have a secondary method in the real games too. It's such a hassle having to trade especially if you don't have anyone you know and can trust to trade back the evolved Pokemon.
I player a hack rom that had a new item called "trade stone" that evolves a pokemon who only evolve trading

I don't trust people so I just hope I found there trade evolution in the wild like gengar

I wish Nintendo and the Pokemon developers would release official games like this where you can catch everything and trade evolutions are based on friendship.

Well in Arceus you can get all 240~ pokemon without trading, but trade evolves are done with a rare item

I love pokemon emerald, i spent more than 999h:59m on it, breeding and ev training in that game for the battle frontier was a pain back in the days 🤣 but it make me feel more attached to my battle ready pokemons.
I think I spent almost 300h training them, and when I finally conquered all gold symbols in the battle frontier it was a sensation that I haven't felt yet with more modern games of pokemon.
(Sorry for my english which is not perfect 🤣)

It’s a lot of dedication when you realize that it’s 3 times as much time as the 100 days stuff

Love it, great challenge, the only thing I would do different was the grinding and evolving in the early game, you coul have saved a lot of time doing it only after the league! But keep doing those great videos!

That was a lot of work, good job! You could do 100 hours in B2W2, skip the Pokedex but try to beat like 5 different PWT tournaments and complete all the movies at the PokéStar Studio? Maybe get all the relic items from the sunken ruins?
@Yellow Mightyena There's more than one tournament available at the facility, wasn't sure how to denote that.

I wouldn't never thought 100 hours in pokemon would be so fun as I'm really interested in those 100 Days in Minecraft vid. Zwiggo definitely keep up with these 100 hours vid! I would love to see it. For new generation maybe you could separate into 2 parts? 100 and 200 hours so you could complete the pokedex and also capture a shiny.

I checked my game play for pokemon sword. I've got over 500 hours. I didn't even know I've been playing it that long. That should tell you how much i love the game. Mist of it comes from ev training, finding gmax, and doing the battle tower, and the dlc. 😃😃😃😃😃
So since the challenge was complete all the tasks in 100 in game hours, couldn’t you have simply shiny hunted a static encounter or your starter and soft reset so it wouldn’t count towards your in game hours?

Time wouldn’t matter in a static encounter if you are resetting because each encounter would be a new one.
wouldn't mind seeing you catch every single pokemon in beast balls in sun or ultra sun/moon ( fun fact, you need to make pokemon hold beast balls in sun in order to get more than a few) I am currently helping a friend getting a beast ball living dex, it's fun to stratigize

There's no way Zwiggo would see something and steal the idea. He gives credit where credit is due and likely started this idea before the other video came out. Multiple people can have the same idea.

I appreciate the effort into the video and I find it entertaining but remember that the time went up with the speedup multiplier, meaning it would've been like 10-15 hours of filming rather than 100.

No, that’s a postgame area. You can only get there after beating the Elite Four and the champion.
