- A flip through of my latest junk journal. I knew I wanted to use the traditional Christmas colors of red, green, cream and gold for this journal to evoke the vintage holiday look. Tons of postcards, vintage ephemera, tags and embellishments are used throughout. Beautiful Christmas fabric, laces, and sari trim all in the same color scheme set the tone for a wonderful Christmas Junk Journal!

This has to be the best Christmas junk journal I have ever seen anywhere. It truly represents the meaning of Christmas, I am making a Christmas journal right now and I have collected lots of ephemera and beautiful papers and music sheets. Okay- where do you get all of these ideas Pam? I’m just amazed at the combinations and free flowing abundance of textures that you choose. You have a wonderful collection of fabrics ephemera and embellishments. I’m new at junk journaling and just in the stage of building up my stash. I might have to watch this video repeatedly. Thanks for making it.
I get inspiration from lots of things! You will be surprised once you get into junk journaling how quickly your stash can grow- thrift and antique stores are my favorite places to go for my treasures. I have a few videos on my channel on how I get inspired. Thanks for the nice comment!

I’m always sad to see so-called Christmas products that completely ignore the birth of Jesus, which is what Christmas is all about - not holly, poinsettias, trees, red and green papers, ledger paper, postcards of people singing, fabric snippets, boho lace remnants, etc. All of that is fine and ok if perhaps the cover or the middle double spread celebrated the only topic worth celebrating - the reason for the season! A Christmas journal without a single word about the birth, the parents, the shepherds, the wise men, Bethlehem, the angelic choir?
Everyone likes different things. Personally, I would not make a Christmas journal with the things you mentioned included in it, because I would not buy one like that. I love this journal!!! 😍🎄🎁
Each their own with regards to the meaning of Christmas and one’s creative expression / representation of its meaning etc. You don’t like this journal, it makes you sad - okay, it’s not for you, move on! Your negative comment / judgement is unnecessary. Ba-humbug! 🎄🫶🎄
This journal does include several hymnal pages including the hymns "Oh Come, All Ye Faithful," "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," and "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem." These hymns certainly tell the story of Jesus' birth which we have celebrated for 2,000 years. I think she created a beautiful journal to remember our past celebrations of Christmas and to record and keep our future memories.
