Hey brother, Brian! Man, I love your guitar tutorials and I thank you so much for sharing these. I use a lot of your tutorials for leading worship. You are a great inspiration and a great teacher, and I am blessed by you! God bless you, my brother, and again thank you so much for sharing the talent that God has given you!
now thats what im talking about I never realized this was in Dropped D ,, we practice this every week at church, but never play it because its not just right,,, thanks for this
We played an accusic version of this at a revival service this weekend. I do say I watched your tutorial on how to best play this song. It turned out pretty cool. 😎 I apperciate the simplified chord shapes. Thanks guys! 😊
We added this to our setlist for a gig we are doing soon. Leader wants to do it in D standard. I used a drop tune pedal with your “spot on” WT preset. I dialed it two semitones down on the drop tune and it made the EG intro easy to do . I had considered drop D but was dying to use the drop tune pedal. Just another way to do it 😊
You're AMAZING. I got really inspired by a girl in church who can really play... And me, who just wants to start "somewhere", it's gotta be this song... And it's gotta be your STELLAR tutorial. Cheers
SIR! Not only is this a fantastic tutorial, but I love how you added the bible challenge of Elisha and that incredible story! Thank you so much for sharing with us....and rocking that Holy Guitar! Blessings, Brother!
You could also play the G using the Dsus2 shape. If you bar the 5th fret on all strings and then fret the D on the G string and G on the B string. If you're used to bar chords, then that could be easier than having to mute two strings.
Would you not do the I- bIIV/I -IIV/I -bIV/I walkdown on acoustic? To me all those weird dissonant intervals are what make this song unique. I know alot of that comes from the EG's doing weird bends and slide work and stuff but I think it is cool to incorporate that walkdown into the acoustic.
Can you please do a tutorial for freedom eddie james Ive yet to find a tutorial for it , I know its a old song but I really would like to implement that song into my praise team
Bro! Just discovered this channel, lovin it, learned a cpl songs already! If you're takin requests, unspoken released a live album called "reason" they revamped an old song called "bury the workmen". It's really bluesy and sounds like a bunch of fun to play!

a better way to play this is using a cut capo on 2nd fret and ply it in E- you do not have to drop any strings and it plays easier -
Nice man. Are you guys doing a electric guitar tutorial of this song
drop d tuning sounds great, but the low d string sounds really sharp
