One of the most ingenius amd simple mechanism I have ever seen. You are a national treasure bro. Keep it up. I am just starting to learn on how to build pistols and yours is the best O have watched so far
Thanks. The general outline and the trigger group is not my idea- can't take the credit- it goes to Fuzzbean. However, my reiteration is much simpler to do at home with simple materials and tools.
@@STEINBVG I am an MD. PhD but I build pre WWI race cars such as Bugatti 1934, and Morgan Brooklands style. I have been assembling a decent machine shop where I will be able to make any parts that myself or any of my friends may need. Keep up the great work.
@@STEINBVG I am just finishing the machine shop and when it gets a bit warmer I will be starting work on the Boattail and posting the videos. I will try and let you know when I start the channel. I love videos that are raw and unedited as long as they are interesting so I am going to try and make the videos like that at first. It will be in the Spring here in Pa when I am able to be out in the barn for decent amounts of time. Thank you my friend.
Thanks. Keep me posted . I hope you saw my motorcycles and other builds in my Rough’N’Raw style. Working with guns is my more recent hobby. Very satisfying and challenging. I am a diagnostician and trouble shooter in a broad and creative sense. Regardless of a media I work with.
It does have an ejector, but no extractor. I have very reliable rifles - Voere 2005 and Gevarm in open bolt that have neither ejector or extractor. Never misfire or fail to eject.
I had to see the gun you took your idea from and visited his channel. His and yours are both interesting but you must have done a lot of pausing to get any details out of those videos. Let me know when you setup a website with lots of big photos so I can think about what I'm looking at without getting whiplash. I think yours is by far the more clever design by simplifying it down to common off the shelf materials.
Here,s the forum where he showed how he built it. Bunch of progress pictures.www.homegunsmith.com/cgi-bin/ib3/ikonboard.cgi?s=a90c5d9778e0dfbc61cbc6652a5d585a;act=ST;f=3;t=18176;st=0
You are correct, in a strict pedantic sense. Perhaps this gun belongs to a 3d category. After a deliberation I decided however to call it semiauto: Because it has more semi functions than manual: it,s single action, cocks 1t manually, then via blow back, ejects a spent round. All automatically. Only one function is manual- feeding one at a time hence: single shot. A manual weapon uses no energy from the charge for it,s operation: in feeding, extracting and cocking the firing mechanism for the next shot - all done by hand, manual. Give me a better name for this hybrid,s mechanism and I will gladly use that classification. By the way, manual weapons can have magazine and manual feeding- lever, bolt, pump. I think the defining factor - use of the energy of the charge

I sympathize with you. I have heard you have tough gun laws in you country, especially about homemade ones. But I saw a lot of men making guns there nevertheless. I have learned from their rare TH-cam videos...Very rough, but clever designs made with practically no tools. That's very appealing...If you have intelligence, observation skills and good hands- you can learn a lot by watching and by trials and errors- nobody taught me. This one is not my idea, but simplifying the production is totally mine. Thanks for your visit.
Это не ствол, а просто заглушка чтоб затвор не выпадал. Стрелять не собираюсь. Просто хотел отладить УСУ- он прост, но должен быть сделан очень точно чтоб работать

It's like those Luty Guns without a magazine, the missing ejector can be a problem if you have a misfire ...

Can you do a vet pistol next please
What is ‘vet’ pistol?
@perpperhomesteadingwisdom8570 oh, I know what you,re talking about. It,s the modern reincarnation of the British Welrod assassination pistol.
Boa tarde amigo. Mim vende ou mim ensina a fazer. Diga aí o preço
Thanks. Can not sell it or offer you detailed instructions.
Sorry but how is it semi auto if it only fires one shot. No magazine either
