Nothing to be embarrassed of bud somedays r better than others these things can can leave u scratching your head on any givin day I feel like I learn alot on those tuff days good vid 😎🤟
It's definitely process. I'm grinding like yourself. Feels good to get dialed in. Trying to get my nitro sorted out. My ebuggy is finally race worthy. Last practice I was getting nitro the dialed with setup and tune and started to shaving laps times when the chassis broke. So basically doing a full rebuild. Good vid boss!
Thank you ! Man your chassis broke ! As of now I will be putting in a second front bearing in my b2103 . I think it’s time for me to shelf that motor and move on lol . I’m ready to go back out and race!
Great video. What weights are you running in the diffs?? You talked about the base setup for the shocks. What would the base setup consist of in the way of springs, shock fluid and pistons?? Thanks
So my diff weights are 7 7 3 . Plastic front axle knuckle with 1 degree insert to make 18.5 caster . Stock size 1.3 black pistons with 600 weight shock oil . 2 degree rear toe inserts . And aluminum rear hubs . Everything else like arm hole locations on shocks towers etc is stock tki4 kit setup
Didn’t realize these engines could have a bearing go bad, much less go bad at ~1 gallon. I have the ProTek Samurai version of that OS B2103 and it’s almost at the 1 gallon mark. Hope its bearings hold up.
I’m sure you will be good . I think it’s just bad luck on my end . Machines break and it happens to all of them new or old . That protek is a good motor . My friend runs them and he has zero issues with his . My motor has always been a pain. Constantly chasing a tune on it . It’s just my motor I’m sure . I’m sure other b2103 are just fine lol 😂
@@BuggyBrentRC Been there before. Hell, I bought a new Novarossi P5 before COVID hit, and got 1.75 gallons on it when it had a wrist pin clip pop out while idling, ruining the piston & sleeve. I would second guess my assembly thoroughness, but I never took this engine apart whatsoever other than changing glow plugs. Just one of those random things I suppose...
Thanks It worked out . I got new bearings in it now and it doesn’t knock anymore . The engine is still a pain to tune . It’s inconsistent. So I tried tuning it a different way kinda against what you should do with a little more idle gap . Tuned it my way and as of right now it’s running pretty good. Haven’t tested it on the track yet with this new tuning method I did lol we shall see . This engine has been a disappoint though . I’m already saving money for a different one . Going to have a friend mess with it too
@@BuggyBrentRC I’m gonna try and hit RC3 on my way south.. Ill let you know .. You can try one of my Reds motors.. Ill also have a go at tuning. OS based engines are way easier to tune typically.. What fuel do you use ?
@@wakecoach75 sounds good . Let me know a few days prior if you think your going to run there and I will try and meet you there. I’m running bones brew 30% and 8% oil
@@BuggyBrentRC nice .. What size Venturi ? One of the old guys got me on a 6mm and with Bones 25%.. Still insane power.. And speed.. Just more control and longer run time .. .
It’s was a good live and I love your content . Keep up the good work and what you do for the rc community ! You had a good group on tonight ! Goof stuff !

Bummer man about that motor. But glad you did so well!! As they say , you gotta pay to play.
