He is human. Just like anybody else's he is afraid. Unfortunately, he represents the Philippine Church yet now he is indifferent, lethargic and incapacitated only because of that fear. Meanwhile his flock are being slaughtered by the President Evil- Duterte! People are crying but it's not heard. The Cardinal is playing safe - singing, joking telling stories in his homilies. As one teenage girl would say- he is just making pa-cute. I hope one day the good Cardinal will wake up in his slumber and gather strength to fight evil in the Philippines. God's voice should be heard and not the one playing god. No to Extra-judicial killings. No to Duterte! The Philippines and the Filipinos need a courageous leader. Let's pray that the Cardinal in deep slumber will one day wake up and be a leader - that is his calling as our Shepherd!
