Nice video Declan. Cheers to Michael Clavin to step up when you needed a good word. Grandad is a true Hero! Looking forward to see how it all works out.
Nope never did it had to go back that day and I later fixed the case up a bit and sold it mostly due to it not being up for the post driver but I will soon have it out again and try it on the JD I have no doubt it will work on it!
Return hydraulic pipe needs to be piped into the back end of the tractor not through the valve chest, Gravity drops the weight of the hammer so no need to change oil and filters, it shouldn't make a difference to dropping the hammer, it may help lift your hammer faster, Case normally have very fast hydraulics, you may have a look at the way your loader is plumbed also, the return hydraulic pipe from the loader valve chest should freeflow into the tractor back end , may sure that it's not returning through the tractors valve chest.
The reason it is not dropping freefall is restricted oil flow you would usually put the return into the other side of the hydraulic valve that is giving you power The return will be opened when you have the valve locked in the power position
@@hayman5968 ya it is becouse if it was a standard top link it would be no problem but since he has no experience with a hydrolic top link he might accidently push a hydrolic lever and cause it to hit the window ?!
Told you the other day top link was the biz. Massey would work one also. So the hydraulics the back end was as bad working the loader? Any shearing on the magnet of the bung plug? I email you now
Hi Great videos but some parts tends to get unnecessary long and a bit tedious! cut these bits out, or triple speed them, thus keeping the viewers attention on max. Maybe it is more the early films. One example: loooong section with You fetching the poles in the horse trailer etc. Good videos though👍
Hired a post driver twice years ago ago and never got one again. I find better rights from getting in a good man on a track machine. He'll be able to clean back a ditch/hedge and leave the ground level for the bottom of the wire. Tip- Drive around and have all your posts dropped and spaced where you want them the day before. You'll do alot of walking and get nothing done with fencing if you're not organised! Believe me I know from experience!

Did you ever get the postdriver working properly

Yeah l was wondering why that post driver had a two way ram. A single acting ram would be better
@@philipoconnor2236
It probably is a single acting ram on the hammer, but it has other functions which are double acting rams,

watch the back window with the hydrolic top link. ,NOT speking from experience
@@hayman5968 if the window is open and you shorten the top link the post driver will hit the back window !!!???

That noting 2 do with ur filters the big hose aun a post driver hasta dunp the oil directly into back end not trew the valves that what leave her slow
