Baker's release being so quick probably makes it feel like Fields holds it until the MNF kickoff.
@@DavePainkiller Some of his sacks were in the 4-5 second range, where he should have thrown the ball, even if it was to throw it away.

I lost my wife 4 months ago at the young age of 30 and Bucs football was something we cherished every Sunday. We were both devastated when we heard about Shaq’s baby girl has we have two young kids ourselves, I burst into tears on that pick-six, what an emotional moment and I know Arrayah and my Antoinette were cheering our Bucs on from above 😇 #firethosefuckingcannons 🥹

When Baker recovered that fumble by Otten, man, that was pure effort. That guy has his head on straight and his heart in the game. Probably the best free-agent signing in the league.

I can't watch the games live, but I was reading people talk about the game and that fumble recovery in real time on the bird app. I didn't get to see the play until now.
Also saw a lot of talk and a lot of people shocked at Baker somehow shedding a bunch of sacks.. Some saying the Bears defense making Baker look like Roethlisberger out there. Lol
Gene got the name wrong, it was David Wells. He was undrafted to the Cowboy in 2018, but waived on final cut day. He has been a practice squad player for 6 years and finally made his first catch today for 1 yard and a first down. Sadly, the second catch was the fumble for -11 yards, so he has a career 2 catches for -10 yards, poor guy.
Always have to tune into these highlight replays .

This Tampa Baker squad plays explosive & tough as nails! Including Baker, Gosh he & Evan's & receiving crew are looking seasoned. One turnover in 2 games & that's the special teams getting a FG blocked. It amazes me how Baker throws darts off balance or guys hanging on to him or escaping like a greased pig. Best play after throwing lazers and darts and dropping a dime in the bucket for Evans TD, was the touch pass to Evans & spinout broken tackle. Priceless and excitement are building with this Tampa Baker team.

Last week, I gave the defense the MVP, again this week I gotta give it to the D. They really did a great job, but I'm also giving an overall First Runner Up to the whole team - as the offense did their job as well with getting open for Mayfield, Mayfield connecting and running well, and ending up with the win.

Watch the replay at 12:10 as it shows the best angle. Claypool got his and in there on the ball, so McCollum bobbled it a bit after his feet left the ground. So when the finally secured the ball, he landed out of bounds. It was a good play by Claypool to break up the INT.
Baker is a good qb, his entire career his only real problem has been himself so far he looks like he made that next step in maturity. Could be another special year if they stay healthy.
