It was worth waking up from 5 a.m. in Korea and watching the game.
This was a shaky performance from the 49ers at first but our defense tightened up in the 2nd half.
Here’s to hoping Purdy can unlock the deep ball later this season because it can make our offense unstoppable-and these Rams could be a wild card team this year.
I thought it was a great performance by the 49ers. You got a 57 yard field goal. You didn't waste opportunities, i.e., when Rams turned the ball over to you, points were scored. 49ers moved the ball and played stingy defense. Great win.
This Rams groups is pretty good. I think it's a 10 or 11 win team, and I think it might be really good at the end of the year. Hope so anyway. LOL
The young guns on defense for the Rams played with some swagger against a lot of talented weapons with the 49ers. As long as the o line stays healthy this will be a fun team to watch
Yes it was a shaky game from the Niners but also the Rams played solidly on both sides of the ball. I seriously underestimated them coming into this game. I'm glad we pulled out the win.

Compared to the cowboys Rams fans have always been very classy.
As a 49er fan this was definitely Brocks worst performance. He missed two TD passes but still had that impressive two minute drive before the half. With that being said even in a "bad" performance we still put up 30 points and are now 2-0! Bring on the Giants!

Wasn’t pretty for Niners. Offense and defense had some lapses, but Brock kept his cool, defense got turnovers.
That's what makes this team serious this year. So many ways to win. 12 straight regular season games! He had to nearly get his arm ripped off to lose a game. Biggest draft steal since Brady.

Purdy was not at his level, he missed few clean touchdowns but I admit Rams D-Line played good game with constant pressure on him.
In first game Aiyuk was a star, yesterday it was Samuel so maybe in next one Kittle will get more passes and by the way Jennings again had his few moments.

The Rams outplayed us until the 2nd half when our defense stepped up and won the turnover battle. That was the difference in the game. Brock doesn't need to put up guady numbers for us to win as long as he's not giving the ball back. He reminds me of a better version of Jim Harbaugh coached Alex Smith. That's his floor and the sky is the limit

Not fishy, evil. It was vastly better odds than a last second TD and it meant that plenty of people betting on the 49ers lost.
Despite the loss, that was a terrific game for the Rams. If they're playing like this without Kupp, then imagine how they'll look when he returns. Puka Nacua has been phenomenal in his absence. And while yes, he's had his rookie moments, his Football IQ and level-headedness have more than made up for it.
This game completely sold me on the fact that barring any heavy injuries, this Rams team will see the playoffs. I'm excited to see how these next few Kupp-less weeks go, because if you play a close and respectable game against teh 49ers, you can repeat that against any team.
Also, Rams House didn't look much like the Rams house today, lol. I wish more fans would attend thse home games. Especially against a division rival. That being said, Go Rams! 🐏

As a Rams fan, didn't expect to do this much. Stafford looking pretty solid, Kyren did beautifully covering Akers, and man, this Puka Nacua guy is impressive. He can be somethin for sure. Respectful performance from Niners, they are actually good.

Nacua breaking NFL records is a testament to how great of a QB Stafford has always been. The WR position is reliant on the QB and every receiver Stafford plays with goes crazy. Megatron, Kupp, OBJ etc.
Tate, Jones, and golladay had their best years with Stafford as well
I appreciated the hard tackles and aggression brought by Warner and Hufanga. They were very aggressive on every tackle.

The interception intended for Williams in the 3rd quarter was the turn of the tide. Had LA scored on that drive, the dynamic of the game would have been drastically different.

@sharull6074 I'm not losing any sleep, I'm a Niner fan. All I'm saying is up until that point, the Rams offense was on fire and was having their way with us. Even the interception itself was a perfectly thrown ball that was batted up by the intended receiver. Getting that turnover brought the Rams back down to Earth and put out that fire. They weren't the same team after.

Yeah as a 49er fan you have to get props to the Rams they played really good and puka is going to be a great receiver in this league... And even though Brock Purdy didn't play his best game.. I miss two touchdown passes opportunities... I think the more important thing is that he didn't turn over the ball and played great especially at the end of the first half and give props to the defense as well and I hope Brandon Ayuk gets better I won't be surprised if he doesn't play against the Giants because it's a short week and give props to Jennings who I thought played really well.... Again give a lot of respect to the Rams they can be a really good team this year..

As a Rams fan, I'm not mad at this L. We were supposed to be near-rebuilding but we were able to keep it competitive with a playoff-ready 49ers team. Also, Rams continue showcasing their talent of finding great receivers late in drafts as Puka is the real deal

Felt like LA had a chance until Stafford started losing his cool. Puka put in work and may have been wearing out too... was surprised to see the 2 overshot potential TD passes from Purdy but at least throwing power doesn't seem to be as big of an issue as SF was worried for! Strong first half by Rams, but niners defense got themselves together on the 2nd half.

Stafford lost control because they were making dumb mistakes. His 2 INTs were not on him as the RB popped the first one sky high and the 2nd one the WR didn't even do his route properly causing it to be undercutted and picked off. Margin of error is small on the 49ers and he knows this. That's why he got pissed off. He played a great game.

Rams fan here. This was a great game. We expected to get blown out, but instead, we matched them blow for blow, until the end. Still have no idea what to think of this team, but I'm here for the roller coaster.
It was a great game. Pity that 2 crucial turnovers took toll. Stafford was always a good quarterback, but it seems he's becoming something else this season.

I'm a Niners fan but the Rams played a hell of a game, especially without Kupp.
Stafford played very well, Nacua is a legit weapon, and their O-line held back our pass rush way better than I expected.
Rams are gonna be a serious presence in the NFC West if they keep this up.
They would have need Kupp to win this game.
@@johnnyeric3742 They just didnt need to turn the ball over to win, plain and simple. Puka still had 140+ yards so their receivers were getting seperation.
As a Rams fan I’ll take a TD loss to the niners , we looked solid , just some rookie mistakes, good game

He drove his team down for a touchdown with less than a minute to go from like the 20 or something prior to the half, didn't turn it over and was throwing dimes to everyone other than those 3 deep passes 2 of which were pretty difficult to get. He was grounded the whole game, never got freaked out in the pocket.
The Rams just played a hell of a game. Jimmy would have crumbled, and Trey would have broken another finger or something.
You know your team is good when you have a bad game but still score 30 points and get the W. I know you can't take any opponent lightly, but they have the perfect opponent for a Thursday night game. Giants are struggling, and if Barkley doesn't play, I don't even know how they're going to compete on the road against a team this good.

He had 3 catches that were 10, 11, and like 15 yards when he touched them. The rest were 9 yards or less. He didn't exactly open up the field. The Niners were just giving the Rams too much separation.
Niners were super fortunate to get that first INT, that play totally changed the game.

Was rooting for my Niners......I am happy they won. Purdy keeping the offense going well. But the Rams played well too. Puka Nacua is a force to deal with as long as he keeps doing what he does thus far. If that is the case, Rams found a gem for a long time. Good game, Rams.

Just by virtue the Rams hanged on with the eventual Super Bowl Champions for 2024 - S.F. 49ers - prove they haven't fallen down as much as people expected them to be this year. Just a couple of players short to which the 2024 draft will fix.
As a brock Purdy fan I do think he'll have to develop a deep field chemistry with his receivers but besides that the kids going places.
Always enjoy seeing my team get a win but gotta play so much better (Especially on defense)! 💯

This was Purdy's worst game as 49er so far. He was not good today but ultimately avoided making game changing mistakes unlike Stafford and that is why we won..not every day is gonna be rosy. Happpy we got the W despite not being at our best

I love it when the clock was down to one second and the Niners went for it... it was Awesome Brock with QB sneak, then CMC and Debo with their touchdowns and Moody making all the field goals. I was really happy the Niners Defense came alive in the second half.
I have to say Puja Nacua is a badass for a rookie.
