Look ok initially but the bottle looks a bit to long for anything but a small (ie narrow) moderator to fit, unless of course the angle of the camera just didn't show us properly. It would as you mentioned, be nice to see a wooden stock perhaps? Nice little teaser to wet our appetite. 😁 👍

I actually directly spoke to the importer upon reading your comment and that was the official answer straight from the horse's mouth. This is a really nice platform. I would love to see what the .22 cal in FAC is capable of with accuracy. As you know my favorite hunting pellet is the Daisy Hollow Point 15.4 grain and am curious how they group in this rifle. They should…if this barrel is like my other .22 cal barrels…have the same POI as JSB Hades. I never have to re-zero the gun between those 2 rounds out to 50 yards. Both should be well under sub MOA. Looking forward to your review on this gun. Till then God bless.
Hi Heath! It's an interesting thing isn't it? I still need to get my mitts on those Daisy pellets but it's hard to find an importer for them in the UK. I think the Edge-X will be pretty popular with the tactical crowd and especially the boys that like using night vision, plus it's another Turkish rifle with a regulator like the Reximex Ixia and Mito, if these are successful finger's crossed we might start seeing some other rifles being built with regs like the Krals. I can't say too much yet until we get the production models in but from what limited testing I've been able to do with the rifle quickly at 30 yards it seems pretty much spot on. 20p groups at that distance. The Turkish barrels have really come on leaps and bounds. It'd be fantastic if the .177 could mimic the results we were getting from our Pretensis!

QD sling mounts aren't new they've been around for probably 25 years and they're on a few different air rifles and they're nice but if they're not a good quality ones the amount can pop off and the gun come smashing onto the ground.
Hi Derrick. They're certainly a rarity and to my knowledge new to the UK. Although obviously not enough to give a proper verdict I've had a play with these (clicking them is addictive) and they seem pretty tight/well made so finger's crossed no issues should arise there.

Hello Dan - very interesting this one ! But I hope this being a pre-series gun, it is not too late to make some critical remarks from which the production versions could benefit. . Maybe ASI could use their clout to get Rainson to redesign the buttpad to be also vertically adjustable. This is very much needed for bullpups and semi bp's. I would like to see more detail of the extension parts of the pad to see if it could be made longer than shown and to see how solid / rigid it is. You might try your substantial muscle to try that also - wriggling around a bit. Also the height over which the cheek rest is adjustable seems quite limited. I do appreciate that there may be too little space inside the butt assembly for that however. A basic design aspect that cannot be corrected is the short length over which the barrel is clamped. That's for another model, unfortunately... The short barrel tenon is less obvious because it's masked by the side "pic" rail assy. ALSO, I don't quite see why they fitted a STEPPED RAIL on top of the action. Possibly the lower part serves for red dot type of sights ?!

It seems to be an interesting rifle for having a large air tank which adds a lot of autonomy, the design of the stock seems to be also attractive except in the area between the barrel and the regulator valve which is in my opinion very ugly in contrast to the rest of the rifle .
Hi Carlos! I agree, although I'm not a fan of "tactical" rifles I do like the looks of this one barring the regulator section. It's a genuinely sweet looking rifle in the walnut and who knows they might even change that area up a bit with the production rifles. Thanks Carlos! This is actually a "sort of" all new block from what I can tell. I'm seeing more Benjamin vibes than Kral especially the stepped rail.
