Wow. Thank you. This was a really good tutorial. I’ve never been able to shape my bass lines well to make them snap like that, and I guess now I know why. I have a Virus C, and will be applying this today. Hope to see more vids brother.
I think you set it to a 2 pole filter. The '4' in SER 4 refers to both filters being combined, both 2 pole. SER 6 will make the first filter a 4 pole and the second a 2 pole.
Great tutorial, there's no way however to get the same full sound out of the TI by exactly copying this tutorial, you'd assume the TI is just a deeper version of the A, B, or C series, but they sound much different, the A sounds richer and more raw, which I love more.
Great video, thanks! Do you know if there is a way to find a manual of the Virus A or B? I was thinking about buying one but I wanted to read the manual first
Hey LB, sorry for my late reply, I've missed your comment somehow... :( Yes, you can find the manual on the access virus website : www.virus.info/downloads
Hey Air One, I wasn't sidechaining it with LFO Tools, I was using it as a scope, to demonstrate what I was doing. But in general, I don't sidechain at all my bass, I use the velocity for that ;)
Oh right I thought it was sidechaining sorry . I've got a virus indigo and a nova desktop. All working great but I can seem to side chain them in fl studio
I use the one that came with it actually (the original one), maybe there's a problem somewhere else because if the power adapter fails the synth isn't supposed to run at all
how did you attach the synth to your ceiling
with the attachement ;)

Hey DaZed, yeah I don't think this would be possible as they have completely different DAC (not sure to which point the code is different tho)
Could you please teach how to do this in TI2?
Great work man, what are the midi notes to achieve that ?
Hey Pedro, thank man, just a normal triplet :)
Very useful to me, thank you a lot !

@@airone6025 I can't really tell for FL, but I think if you bounce them into wav files you should be able to sidechain them easily ;)
what ac adapter are you using mine is 12v and the synth turns on but no sound

Is this made from init patch?
Yes
4:20 bass line starts, 4 seconds later, FF to 4:38 and it seems to go on longer. Had to turn it off when he started talking again.
Can you save patches on the virus a?
Sure, you have 4 Banks of 127 Patchs :)
Your hands are very distracting
