Technically you don’t have to remove the engine mount you can get the power steering pump off without the mount coming off. Us a swivel ratchet but your ways more easy.
You don't have to pull the whole mount to do this, i just did a head gasket job on an 01 w a 3.4 yesterday and all you have to do is take out the front 18mm bolt and you can get at the p.s. pump bolt without all the extra work
Very true, It just helps to have some extra hand space to get the job done. Thanks buddy for the added advice as im sure it will help someone else who may view this video. Thanks
Oh absolutely bud, I agree with your advice. if it helps someone else great. We all can appreciate some short cuts when It comes to auto repairs. Thank you for sharing.
Big Greasy it plugs in to the control module where the coil packs are and goes to the sensor on the bottom a #6 to take off ! Can’t find a part nowhere my buddy shortens it to long and don’t like spliced wires
The sensor that is being replaced in this video is the Camshaft position sensor, There is also a crankshaft position sensor which will cause a delayed or no start condition,
@second chance projects Delayed start? I’m having that problem; fuel pump takes 30+ seconds to activate it seems. Can a crankshaft sensor cause this in grand am?
super helpful, short, sweet, to the point, well done
Hey Thanks boss, That was the idea and glad I could help. Thanks for the comment.

What are the symptoms for this? Does it start then stall or not start at all?
The car would turn over and not start immediately. Check engine light comes on and display p0341 code. hopefully this helps.
Thanks
@LifeBeginsWithChrist No dont believe so. Your issue sounds like a iac or tps sensor. Could also be cause by a vacuum leak. Thanks
What’s the 1 on the side of the engine and plugs in to the control module
Sorry for late reply, I believe your referring to the cruise control module. Thanks
