This has to be one of the youngest teams ever to win a 4x400 relay at this level. Sidney is the oldest and she is 22? Its amazing.

I agree, they were all impressive. Very interesting note: I saw the split times and other than McLaughlin (who is unbelievable), they were all very close, separated by just a couple tenths of a second. I guess the point is, even though it looks like some of them ran so much better than others, they're all basically the same.
@@latricehubbard8789 Agreed, but that's more of a reflection of who they are running against. The times reflected that they were all pretty much the same, not counting Sydney.

Sydney, at 22, is the "old, grizzled, veteran." The rest of the world is scared. Very scared.
Abby is also 22, born just three months after Sydney. And both ran at University of Kentucky.
Agreed. Also worth mentioning, if the schedule is right, they could always add Athing. Which to me, makes the team even more dangerous.

I just want to point out, our squad is so good that they literally called in Alyson f'in Felix on some "umm hey legend, can you come back to Eugene for a day and fill in during the prelims" lol. I love this team.
4 very talented and beautiful ladies. It is good to know our track and field future is secured for years to come. Will miss Allison Felix; a true class act.
Sydney is so professional and serious. It's good to see her smile once in a while to enjoy the moment.

@@Adaobieistyping Russia China and India do not have close to the amount of depth the USA has, Jamaica is the only comparable nation in terms of sprints and they are a small country. Size doesn't really matter and track is one of the least popular sports in America. America is just more talented.

What you Jamaicans fail to realize is that your country and the USA sends more people to a track to dam near kill themselves running 400m than any other country in the world. The rest of the people in the world got more common sense not to do that and nor do they want too.

They have 3 dominant women and besides that the US has better athletes all around. US has strong contenders in every single event in Track and Field besides distance. And also I said only Jamaica is comparable because they're extremely talented.

I love my Steiner, but Wilson made the difference in this race, and look how shy and humble she is, she has made a fan out of me, Props to all the young ladies, but for me Wilson made this win possible.

What I saw apart from pure talent was beauty, brains, and poise from all these beautiful women. I thought if Sha'carri who I believe can be great but can take notes from these ladies. Remaining humble and hungry for victory should be the goal. I really hope she grows and matures

Amazing🤘! Women's USA middle distance sprint races from 200m to 800m are in good hands for at least the next 10 years with these four classy and talented young ladies along with Athing Mu too.
Wow these ladies are fantastic. I am very proud of the way these ladies conduct themselves during the interview process. The older adults should be taking notes on how to act with intelligence class and humility. Congrats team USA on an outstanding 2 weeks of track competition.

I love to see this! They should totally swing by Sacramento, CA this week for the National Junior Olympics and provide some motivation to the girls that will be running the 400m, 200m, etc...
Sydney's big challenge here was not dying from loneliness after the big lead was given to her. Imagine how fast she could run if she actually had to push , well we just might find out nextyear when she goes for that 400m WR.

Andrew Brown I do agree that the 400m has seemed unreachable but I would not say that it’s not possible for Sydney if she trains super hard for that event. She’s only 22 and has the time to focus on that record

Seems like the USA always has an amazing core of 400 runners . Men and women. Overall, I think it's been one of the major strengths of our track and field programs, going back over 40 years.
somehow SOMEHOW it's the girls who have already had a long collegiate season, who then performed well at Nationals, who were still able to hold it together til the very end. We usually see the opposite, but somehow US pro 400m ladies struggled a bit this time around. It is very good to see young and fresh faces and I hope they all stick around.
This is America! So proud of these ladies and their accomplishment at such a young age!

@Crack Shot while running a time way below her season best. She has enough speed to medal in the 200m, just didn’t have it in that race.

She’s going to break the 400 WR. There just isn’t anything holding her back.
@@LightsTeamEuphoria y’all need relax with this WR thing. Allyson had a split in the 4x400 that was 47.5 during the 2015 world champs, and yet her pb in the open 400 is only 49.2. Once again you have to realize that splits do not correlate directly on how good you will run in the open event. However, I do think she can run extremely fast in the 400m and I hope she does end up running it.
@@arathgomez172 She was leading the NCAA in the 400m at one time at Kentucky ,that 1year and she trains with Allyson .
@@arathgomez172 Allyson not having a 48 sec pb is still a mystery to me . Maybe it could have happened in the 2012 Olympics if she ran that event. I think Syd would focus on the 400s that should give her an edge to going faster .

@UCkeO12Y8dJ8dBrUd6w49K_A Not true. USATF tweeted right before the 4x4 that the lineup was Talitha, Britton, Dalilah, and Syd. Even the World Athletics website had that lineup listed. The last minute change was Abby replacing Dalilah.

Each of these young women are in her age range and they are winning things without the ANTICS! No more excuses for her bad attitude, lack of sportswomanship and lack of maturity! I've never paid attention to womens track and field but now I'm a huge fan. This is what the WNBA needs... Pretty, feminine and classy ambassadors for their sport.
