Good to know this is still here. I used to go there on summers with my family. Including Ontario Place. When they had the old Watersides that is. Boy, there are times I miss being a kid.
I'm going to the CNE next week with my sister+her boyfriend and my family, can't wait to enjoy all the fun stuff you got to experience this year at the EX!
I am your new subscriber, It is an amazing and funtastic carnival of Toronto, Very awesome vlog of yours, Very perfectly presented. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up.
You were wondering why they don't have concerts at the stadium. At the old stadium, all the biggest acts of the day performed at the CNE. But the current stadium has real grass. So only the athletes are allowed to step foot on the hallowed turf :-)
Great video! Going to the CNE is essential for me that I end up going multiple days. The Mach 3 is the best ride by a long shot. It's just unfortunate it's such low capacity and lines move extremely slow, even with an express pass.
Awesome video! I used to go to the CNE almost every year, but now I can’t handle the spinning rides very well… Maybe I’ll head back there soon to try some of the wacky food! 😅
...shows how 10 dollars is practically worthless in 2023 as shown in this posting at the fair. How has food marketing become so expensive ? All i saw were prices over $10 for casual food, not a sit down meal setting. Inflation, price increases from suppliers is out of control !
I have a question…On labour day, the gates close at 5 pm. Does this mean no entry after 5? And most of the things like ground and buildings close at 9pm..so they start evacuating you before 9? Or you get to enjoy a little longer than the time mentioned?
@@karanmangat8772 I've never actually been to the CNE on Labour Day so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. Gates closing at 5 means no entry will be permitted after that. Grounds close at 9, so rides, everything will be shut down. I think they'll accommodate people who are still in line for rides but they may close down lines by a certain time so that they don't go over too long.
@karanmangat8772 gates closed means no entry after 5pm. and grounds closed means everything shuts down at 9pm. I highly recommend going during the week if you can to get a full day and avoid the biggest crowds.
30 years ago the CNE would be packed shoulder to shoulder.
Thanks for documenting this for future generations to enjoy 😊
The CNE used to have a wood coaster called the Flyer . A classic ride kept in top condition .

This is a really great video, thanks.
This place looks fantastic

Great video
I wanna go here and just go for the food.
You were wondering why they don't have concerts at the stadium.
At the old stadium, all the biggest acts of the day performed at the CNE. But the current stadium has real grass. So only the athletes are allowed to step foot on the hallowed turf :-)
Great video, by the way!

I went there yesterday and I had fun

Oooh the chicken shawarma poutine looks good
You guys have to go to the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse, It’s so fun! I’m actually going for the second time ever tomorrow.
Some year we probably will. Due to flight cancellations we ended up flying into Syracuse for this trip, but missed the fair by a few days.
@@IntheLoopPodcast Oh, well it’s going on now if that helps. Started on Wednesday and goes til September 4th
Omg I go every year
With the price of admission and the cost of eating there, I cannot afford to visit the CNE this year. Wish they would lower the admission cost. :(
Well, if you enter after 5 pm, it's only 11 bucks to get in. I agree about the food, though.
Come walk in the labour day parade with the trades unions and get in for free :)
😂Gee, I never thought of that.
I can efford it but dont have anyone to go with to cne:(
You’re not missing much. It’s not worth it at all. Save your time and energy and avoid this.
That one ride operator defs had that one ride on max speed. The way it was spinning. Everyone was propabably greyed out.
The last weekend we have our Air Show as well over the lake. Blue Angels are coming up this year
Are they! Wow!! My favourites!! Thanks for letting us know!
Where do you watch the air show from at CNE if you dint buy the air exclusive tickets

Yes, not to mention the admission fee! Too expensive for me, sadly.
Lets wait in line for 1 hour and buy wildly overpriced food! Yeah, lets go to the EX!
Where abouts you get the peanut butter hot dog i go ever year iam going on friday love going in the buildings
The peanut butter corn dog is near the carnival rides section. In between the log flume and the fun houses

I am not sure on that one
@@IntheLoopPodcast can you please help me over this? Me and my friends are free that day only so we just want to know if we can enjoy our first CNE.

If the MegaDrop is a Fabbri model, it's 115ft tall.
Crowds looked anxiety inducing...
The crowds were very high and only got worse in the evening.
It’s quieter on weekdays.
@@IntheLoopPodcast Yeah, because if you get in after 5 pm it's less than half the price of regular admission.
How is this still open? A 30 second Google search reveals the horrible safety record of this place. A teenager just got hurt....again.
Food seems to be made by drunk college freshmen who never had cooking lessons, whatever is in the fridge, you mix together and dare someone to eat.
Don’t go on the Polar Bear Express.
Just kidding that’s a cool ride, just don’t stand up. Them frogs legs make my dog want puck.
Basically eat before you go because it's all disgusting crap
All it had was some stupid rides and abundance of 20th century midway games with plush toys and food trucks with fried junk food. Bravo!
