Notes:
- Nice to see someone be honest about how The Last of Us adaptation didn't measure up. Everyone's normally got their head so far up Naughty Dog's ass they all act like the show is fantastic and flawless - especially with an entire needless episode that made NO difference to the plot.
- I don't know if you have it in you to write a full-blown movie script but if you do, I can help punch it up (I actually did that for my Oscar-nominated screenwriter friend when he wrote a Simpsons episode script and he liked what I did, but whatevs...).
- I'll say it again; If you're the one writing these scripts by yourself, I'm very impressed. Well articulated and well-researched. Good on ya.
- Make your first script an animated thing so we can do some of the voice acting. Durr.

I always like your takes. You hit the nail on the head with Hollywood and the lack of creating new ideas. They did it in the 90s with Flintstones and Addams Family, etc.
Hopefully, we get a period where there's more original content and less adaptations. Right now it's heavy on the adaptations side. Sometimes I just watch independent movies or foreign movies when I need a fix

Yeah, thats what makes Fallout work as a show, It acts as a new and continuing entry within the Fallout series instead of an attempt at being a 1 to 1 adaptation. Which as a alternative form of adaptation there is Scott Pilgrim as an IP were every adaptation of it is different, be it its original comic to live action movie to then being a video game or now an anime. That is a genuanly interesting IP for being so moldable in how someone handles adapting it.

Last of Us was a trip and a half….the hospital section in the last part of the game made me want to bash my head in. I’ve been stuck on that part for FOREVER. Don’t think I’ll ever finish, I’ll just take the L 😢
The show not even digging into that scene as good as the game, felt worse. I think the pandemic was what really held them back.
I've never seen or watched The Last of Us, but maybe it's not too late to take on this story???
