Good to see you back on the vlogs, you didn't miss anything at Winstar Casino, you have to pay for drinks when you gamble, pay a .50 cent tax per hand minimum at the tables, expensive rooms and cheap decor! Keep up the great videos, be safe!
I go to this casino only to play poker. I am not impressed with the decor or its size. The .50 cent tax per hand on table games is shocking. Yet, thousands of people visit the casino and play their games. If casinos are ever allowed in Texas, the Winstar in GONE!
I was worried. I didn't remember you saying anything about going away, and Greta went silent too so it was weird to just have you disappear. BUT, what a GREAT thing to do for your own mental health. Go off the grid, decompress, driving for hours either listening to great music, or shut off the music and just listen to your thoughts. Re-evaluate your life, your goals, your dreams, whatever. You work very hard, and are so busy, you deserved to just hit the road, recoup/relax/see friends/see the country and just be alone with yourself. Being alone with yourself (anyone, not just you) is one of the greatest self care things you can do for yourself. I hope you had a great time. You covered a lot of miles! Interestingly I have a set of identical twin brothers and one lives in Austin and one in Albuquerque. I (and probably a lot of viewers) missed you two. It does a couple good to take time away from each other once in a while, especially when you work together and are together 24/7. Taking a little break lets you focus only on yourself (self-care is important). It also makes you realize that to be in a healthy relationship, there has to be both individual time and together time. This was time for Greta too to focus on herself, see friends, and self-care for her too. Hope you both feel refreshed and ready for whatever your plans for the future are. Now, (in my Mom voice), next leave a one sentence line on Instagram or Facebook "going away for 2 weeks, see you when I get back". It really is none of our business where you were going, but with 100,000+ followers clearly we would worry just because the world is so crazy right now. I wish i knew you wwre coming to ABQ. I live in ABQ. Sandia's is nice but far away from action. It is on reservation land. Hotel Chaco is one of the top hotels you can also stay at in ABQ, it is right close to Old Town and Downtown areas where all action is at. Also you need to come back to ABQ when it is International Balloon Fiesta time and try some of the New Mexican food especially Green Chile.

The rooms there are nice and the perks are pretty good. Choctaw Casino in Durant Oklahoma is pretty nice too, if you ever get a chance to visit there. It's about an hour away from Winstar. They have 4 different hotels, indoor and out door pools, bowling alley, arcade room for kids, movie theater, food court and other restaurants throughout the casino. It's about a 6 hour drive for us but we like to always go to both when we visit.

I'm going up there for a little family reunion earlier Christmas gathering . This week Monday thru Friday. I hope I have some luck. 50 northeast of WinStar is the Choctaw Casino and resort. Very nice casino and film friendly if you ask first. Check it out next trip. Durant Oklahoma
