Even Local Muslims got cheesed off when I spoke Hindi years ago. When they were speaking Dakhani... There's no embarassment in not knowing Hindi.

Since my childhood, I have seen many people speaking in Hindi in my hometown Bangalore. Nobody said, it is a South Indian language. I don't know from where srilankans jumped into this conversation.
